What is the longest time someone has driven the same car? Do some cars survive more than like 4 or 5 races?

Some do use a car whole season. But they dont wreck and are called rodders. The wreckers are using a new car every race.

Why do most cars have their bumpers removed and their front fenders (partially) cut off?
Is is for safety or is there another reason for it?

At some cars it is not allowed to have bumpers. It has to do with safety on these cars.

Or is it to reduce the chance of the wheels scraping the body when the car is damaged?
