After being in this business for over55 yrs .I know how they feel.all the haters .But I think its great to keep the legacy going ,and this is from a pro musician,they still sound a lot better than all these tribute bands.They are not a tribute they are there original selves,well done.
Bought the single November 1981 it got to no 1 Jan 1982 I’m 61 now whoosh where have all the years went lol I have an eclectic music taste rock . Soul , even the crooners from the 50’s but the first time I heard this song especially the beginning of it I had goosebumps lol it also brings back sentimental memories of all my family still being alive , I worked with my dad at that time he was a bricklayer when I hear that song on the radio now the years flood back to my younger teenage years gives me a warm feeling makes me smile
