@@TheDarkMewtwo996 Just a thought I had a while back: Picture Arceus with all of his plates revolving around him. You challenge him, he's Level 100, he has an aura which boosts all of his stats by 3 and suppresses all status moves you try to use on him, so no Topsy-Turvy or Toxic stall, and also suppresses all of your Pokémon's abilities in the same way Mold Breaker does. Now, everytime he uses Judgment, his plates start spinning and his type changes to something that's super effective against your current Mon (no Eelektross, hence Mold Breaker aura). You can't throw any balls at him, you have to beat him fair and square and I want this to be the single hardest battle in any Pokémon game ever. And when you do beat him, you don't catch him, he offers to join you instead, as he recognizes you as a worthy trainer. You can decline and challenge him again, but you also have to beat him again to get a chance to add him to your party. That's my idea of how Arceus should be obtained, because the thought of catching the literal creator of the universe against his own will just seems so lame to me. Make something good out of it.

I like that you kept the ambience of the original Arceus theme intact with the pauses and drums. Most people usually just add unnecessary music in-between the pauses and just completely change the whole feel of it. Awesome job!

Arceus needs a Primal or Mega transformation that, much like Rayquaza, doesn't require to hold a stone or some shiz. Mega/Primal Arceus MUST be at Rayquaza's current throne in AG. Because our lord and savior Arceus requires to be in AG, not being banned to the Ubers tier. Being at Ubers is nice and all, but Arceus deserves better attention. It isn't enough. It's the God of the Pokémon world, damn it!!

Divine protection basicly wonder guard combined with magic bounce and Regnenartor 2. Second coming when fainting revive with full health, restore pp and gain all types combined 3. Ultimate sacrifice all your pokemon faint Arcues gains all there abilties combined into one and can use all their moves. Overpowered yes but fitting for what is consider the creator of the universe

You meet her, play the flute, and the gateway to the Hall of Origin opens; an immaculate staircase constructed entirely out of a substance that you are unfamiliar with. You ascend, with the Champion by your side, and as you reach the summit, she is overcome by the presence of God itself. Knowing you are the more capable trainer, she asks if you have the courage to confront the original one. The battle begins.
Love the Mt. Coronet cameo! This manages to be more intimidating and godly than previous renditions of the theme, even the other remixes! Gamefreak, take notes, you've gotta be like this for DP remakes!

For a Diamond and Perl remake, Arceus needs to play a big part. Arceus is the God of all Pokemon, that means that it can Mega-Evolve. And nobody knows if Arceus is actually in a weakened Form after creating everything. So there also might be a origin Version of Arceus. Alternatively there could also be a "All Plates Arceus" Form. What if Arceus could actually gain a new typing after Mega-Evolving or changing into a Origin Form, something like "Divine". It is super effective against everything and resists eveything and is only achievable by Arceus himself. Give it a basestat of 900 and you have the ultimate Pokemon that no other could beat in a straight one on one. They could also make it's Boss Battle absolutly epic, by making it a Multi Battle, where the Trainer is forced to use all 6 of his Pokemon at once to battle it, resulting in a 6 vs 1. Make it so powerful, that the Trainer isn't even able to catch it with any Pokeball while it is in it's Mega and/or Origin Form. So first you have to battle it out of his Evolution and/or Origin Form and weaken it enough to bring it back to it's current Form we all know, to even be able to catch it. It would be the ultimate Boss Battle against the ultimate and utterly perfect Pokemon.

Imagine you just get summoned by Primal Arceus and it has the mixed stats of Ultra Necrozma, Eternatus, and Mega Rayquaza. Yeah. I think a proper “May Arceus and heaven above help your soul” would work but uh....you ain’t getting any help, my dear friend.
I want this theme to play in a pokemon battle where you fight a mysterious trainer who looks like an old man who for some reason knows a lot about you to the point where he knows your trainer ID and your starter in that game before battling you. His team is Torkoal, Sygilifh or whatever its name was, Xatu, Golurk, Claydol and then finally an Arceus with a mega stone. Its highly impossible to beat but he's not trying to defeat you but rather studying your bonds with your pokemon(how long has it been with you, the levels, EVs, etc.). Get a low rank and he'll leave slightly disappointed. But get a high rank and he'll give you the Arceusite to mega evolve an Arceus. Then he calls out an Arceus from the ultra space to send you on another quest to prove that you can catch it the region's biggest mountain or in another historical site in the game your playing and then opens up another portal to leave only to then show his true form as a deity who was the first to befriend an Arceus until he had essentially created the multiverse by having one Arceus per each universe bred by the original male and female Arceus. The God of the pokemon universe is a certified pokemon breeder who is a proud owner of all the god puppies in all the universes. Edit* If you lose the dude gives you the ability to travel to his dimension for a rematch.
I always felt that at the end, you realize that Arceus was teaching you something important. And you don't literally fight him, but rather, an avatar of him, explaining why this one can be caught, since you should have zero chance of beating the actual god of all pokemon. Arceus was guiding you, the adventurer on how to be a better trainer overall. It was all a test and he was testing you in this fight. When you do "catch" him, he is immediately released, showing that you were fighting an extension of Arceus and you were never meant to really win, but only learn from him and listen to the lessons he laid out for you.
The perception of Arceus as a representation of God is 100% a fanmade thing, and regardless of any past claims of Arceus having created all Pokemon, note that we only get told this through in-game folklore and this series is an eternal retcon fest--the same thing was once claimed of Mew.

As everyone is sharing their ideas for Arceus in DP remakes, I decided I'd join in (this is assuming it happens in gen 8): After Becoming Champion, you receive a call from Cynthia asking for you to come to Spear Pillar as she has found something she thinks is related to Dialga/Palkia (depending on the game, of course). When you go there, Cynthia takes you to a secret shrine previously hidden by rocks. You go inside and find a broken Azure Flute. Cynthia suggests you play it, but when you do, nothing happens. Cynthia, having seen the events of the game take place, refuses to believe that the flute is simply an instrument and believes that the flute being broken is the reason it didn't do anything. Just after she comes to that conclusion, the box legendary's poke ball starts to vibrate. You release Dialga/Palkia from the ball and it creates a portal. You and Cynthia enter the portal and it takes you to an unknown dark area with a pedestal. You place the Azure Flute on the pedestal and 18 more pedestals appear around it, each with a different colour. Then the text "Gather the plates, repair the flute" appears on the screen. Then you have to find all of Arceus' Plates and put them on the corresponding pedestals. When you have done this a cutscene plays where a group of Unown appear and fix the Azure Flute. You return to Spear Pillar, play the flute and the transparent stairs appear. You go up the stairs and find Arceus, who then absorbs the plates and dynamax energy from Sinnoh's gyms on the other side of the portal, becoming Eternamax Arceus. Cynthia then reveals she has a Master Ball and gives it to you, believing you more worthy than her to have Arceus, as you are the better trainer. Then a cutscene plays where you try to catch Arceus, but because this is God, It breaks free and unleashes a Judgement attack, which you avoid but hits Cynthia, knocking her out. You are thrust into a battle With Arceus. When you defeat It you don't catch Arceus, but It deems you a worthy owner and creates it's own poke ball, putting you into a Let's Go - style encounter where you have infinite God balls (Arceus' Poke Balls). After Catching Arceus, you get 2 items, The Origin Plate and Origin Ring. The Plate is a held item that allows you to change Arceus' Forme to It's Origin Forme, which looks like It's Eternamax Forme, but is normal sized. The Ring is a key item that changes Origin Forme Arceus' type (it can even be dual type!).

Ability: Divine Justice. Its type changes depending on the move it's about to use and does not gain the weaknesses of that type. However, the weakness of the original type persists and overrides the resistance of the new type if they coincide. EV yield: +1 in all categories. Recommended natures: Hardy/Timid/Hasty/Adamant/Modest. Note: Arceus does not need to hold any items to access this forme in battle, however it needs to learn Judgement for its immediate access. *SAYONARA RAYQUAZA*

I see a number of comments from years ago theorizing on an Arceus event in potential DP remakes. Seeing them, I wonder if Game Freak saw all this speculation and said, "I'll do you one better: HAVE A WHOLE GAME WITH HIM AS THE MASCOT!!"
For some reason, I find this version much more intense and threatening. The first version was like, oh okay, I’m fighting God. That’s cool, scary, but cool. This one? No, no. This one literally tells you, lose and you die. It’s literally just a song telling you one word, “ RUN. “
this kinda feels like arceus vs missingno because of how jumpy it is at times (well to me at least), the pokemon god vs the glitch in the world. The creator vs the threat to the creation. Giratina may be the devil but at least he's intentional.

They did my boy Arceus, our literal LORD AND SAVIOR, so dirty by putting him under Eternatus and Mega-Rayquaza... If there ever was a Pokémon with a right to hold the title of the most OP to ever grace the tiers, with the right to have its own goddamn tier, that's the one creator of all. I still hope we will get to see an "origin" sort of form for this beast that will put him in his rightful place, back at the top. Plus, it'd make quite a lot of sense: the original form that he was born in from the primitive egg, before he created the universe and shaped himself into a form that was suitable and toned-down enough to visit us, lowly mortals.

For a Diamond and Perl remake, Arceus needs to play a big part.
Arceus is the God of all Pokemon, that means that it can Mega-Evolve. And nobody knows if Arceus is actually in a weakened Form after creating everything. So there also might be a origin Version of Arceus. Alternatively there could also be a "All Plates Arceus" Form.
What if Arceus could actually gain a new typing after Mega-Evolving or changing into a Origin Form, something like "Divine". It is super effective against everything and resists eveything and is only achievable by Arceus himself. Give it a basestat of 900 and you have the ultimate Pokemon that no other could beat in a straight one on one. They could also make it's Boss Battle absolutly epic, by making it a Multi Battle, where the Trainer is forced to use all 6 of his Pokemon at once to battle it, resulting in a 6 vs 1. Make it so powerful, that the Trainer isn't even able to catch it with any Pokeball while it is in it's Mega and/or Origin Form.
So first you have to battle it out of his Evolution and/or Origin Form and weaken it enough to bring it back to it's current Form we all know, to even be able to catch it.
It would be the ultimate Boss Battle against the ultimate and utterly perfect Pokemon.

Imagine you just get summoned by Primal Arceus and it has the mixed stats of Ultra Necrozma, Eternatus, and Mega Rayquaza. Yeah.
I think a proper “May Arceus and heaven above help your soul” would work but uh....you ain’t getting any help, my dear friend.
I want this theme to play in a pokemon battle where you fight a mysterious trainer who looks like an old man who for some reason knows a lot about you to the point where he knows your trainer ID and your starter in that game before battling you. His team is Torkoal, Sygilifh or whatever its name was, Xatu, Golurk, Claydol and then finally an Arceus with a mega stone. Its highly impossible to beat but he's not trying to defeat you but rather studying your bonds with your pokemon(how long has it been with you, the levels, EVs, etc.). Get a low rank and he'll leave slightly disappointed. But get a high rank and he'll give you the Arceusite to mega evolve an Arceus. Then he calls out an Arceus from the ultra space to send you on another quest to prove that you can catch it the region's biggest mountain or in another historical site in the game your playing and then opens up another portal to leave only to then show his true form as a deity who was the first to befriend an Arceus until he had essentially created the multiverse by having one Arceus per each universe bred by the original male and female Arceus. The God of the pokemon universe is a certified pokemon breeder who is a proud owner of all the god puppies in all the universes.
Edit* If you lose the dude gives you the ability to travel to his dimension for a rematch.

I always felt that at the end, you realize that Arceus was teaching you something important. And you don't literally fight him, but rather, an avatar of him, explaining why this one can be caught, since you should have zero chance of beating the actual god of all pokemon. Arceus was guiding you, the adventurer on how to be a better trainer overall.
It was all a test and he was testing you in this fight. When you do "catch" him, he is immediately released, showing that you were fighting an extension of Arceus and you were never meant to really win, but only learn from him and listen to the lessons he laid out for you.
The perception of Arceus as a representation of God is 100% a fanmade thing, and regardless of any past claims of Arceus having created all Pokemon, note that we only get told this through in-game folklore and this series is an eternal retcon fest--the same thing was once claimed of Mew.

As everyone is sharing their ideas for Arceus in DP remakes, I decided I'd join in (this is assuming it happens in gen 8):
After Becoming Champion, you receive a call from Cynthia asking for you to come to
Spear Pillar as she has found something she thinks is related to Dialga/Palkia (depending on the game, of course). When you go there, Cynthia takes you to a secret shrine previously hidden by rocks. You go inside and find a broken Azure Flute. Cynthia suggests you play it, but when you do, nothing happens. Cynthia, having seen the events of the game take place, refuses to believe that the flute is simply an instrument and believes that the flute being broken is the reason it didn't do anything. Just after she comes to that conclusion, the box legendary's poke ball starts to vibrate. You release Dialga/Palkia from the ball and it creates a portal. You and Cynthia enter the portal and it takes you to an unknown dark area with a pedestal. You place the Azure Flute on the pedestal and 18 more pedestals appear around it, each with a different colour. Then the text "Gather the plates, repair the flute" appears on the screen. Then you have to find all of Arceus' Plates and put them on the corresponding pedestals. When you have done this a cutscene plays where a group of Unown appear and fix the Azure Flute. You return to Spear Pillar, play the flute and the transparent stairs appear. You go up the stairs and find Arceus, who then absorbs the plates and dynamax energy from Sinnoh's gyms on the other side of the portal, becoming Eternamax Arceus. Cynthia then reveals she has a Master Ball and gives it to you, believing you more worthy than her to have Arceus, as you are the better trainer. Then a cutscene plays where you try to catch Arceus, but because this is God, It breaks free and unleashes a Judgement attack, which you avoid but hits Cynthia, knocking her out. You are thrust into a battle With Arceus. When you defeat It you don't catch Arceus, but It deems you a worthy owner and creates it's own poke ball, putting you into a Let's Go - style encounter where you have infinite God balls (Arceus' Poke Balls).
After Catching Arceus, you get 2 items, The Origin Plate and Origin Ring. The Plate is a held item that allows you to change Arceus' Forme to It's Origin Forme, which looks like It's Eternamax Forme, but is normal sized. The Ring is a key item that changes Origin Forme Arceus' type (it can even be dual type!).

After hearing about Legends Arceus yesterday, I had to come here
this kinda feels like arceus vs missingno because of how jumpy it is at times (well to me at least), the pokemon god vs the glitch in the world. The creator vs the threat to the creation. Giratina may be the devil but at least he's intentional.

They did my boy Arceus, our literal LORD AND SAVIOR, so dirty by putting him under Eternatus and Mega-Rayquaza... If there ever was a Pokémon with a right to hold the title of the most OP to ever grace the tiers, with the right to have its own goddamn tier, that's the one creator of all. I still hope we will get to see an "origin" sort of form for this beast that will put him in his rightful place, back at the top. Plus, it'd make quite a lot of sense: the original form that he was born in from the primitive egg, before he created the universe and shaped himself into a form that was suitable and toned-down enough to visit us, lowly mortals.
Listening to this gives me anxiety...awesome job!
Hopefully wherever Ghetsis is now, one day he wakes up to Arceus just slowly floating towards him while this theme plays.

I believe Arceus had more power than the current state. I mean, creating everything must have costed a ton of power, as well as splitting the power into other divinities.
It can still check the other divinities all at once, though. That's how hard Arceus be flexin' on them
