It is acceptable for him to break out of the case for a minute to talk about an urgent, unplanned and pressing subject. There were literally people standing in the office demanding records and they needed answers stat. His staff called him because they didn't know what to do. Running a medical office is just like running any other business in that you frequently have to wear multiple hats simultaneously. He needed to have a private conversation with his staff. Nothing about this is incriminating in any way. This is a good example of why people sitting on any jury actually need to have an understanding of the aspects of a case and shouldn't be excluded (as is done in the USA) just because they have such knowledge relevant to a case. For any walk of life, if you have any kind of peripheral or specific special knowledge related to a jury trial, you will automatically be excluded... ridiculous.
They are going "all in" to land the big fish Wendi which will take time. Let's remember one thing, no one in the Adelson family is having any fun as the cops slowly close in.
