yo dude i just bought a piaggio zip js like yours, im thinking of puting primary gearing of 15/38, will my zip go 130 if i put this gearing and a tpr86?
no not at all you will need a press or a shop that has one but the swapping of the gears is easy as 6 bolts and take wheel off and fit new one depends on what gears you are swapping some come pressed already to just fit some dont and need a press
@@PiaggioZ1P i just got a dragy gps dw i have the taps for this ride but fone died on way home and lost top speed but it was 86 in this run but the engine was not in good place rpms was all over and droping at high speeds will get a good run with fresh piston its having a rebuild as we speak and ex port changed and mani as i never checked it when i built it last time was abit off its now sorted and matched
nah 172 on there own only make 24hp out of box with a pipe you need to stroke it and port and intake mod and rd reeds to get any high hp out of it this makes 26hp out the box
@@mibraddamibradda9474 yeah but a well tuned 100cc will smash a 172 all day long also i dont see the the point your making 172 out the box are slow lazy porting if you got both a 77 with a pipe no work and a 172 with a pipe no work i bet you the 77 wins if we taking ported and fully tuned yeah the 172 will beat it its got 100cc more but if you going down that route then a tuned 100 beats 172
Runs great imma do the same gearing on my Zip Sp1 with an stage6
Yeah one more question, what is the cheapest 70cc kit that can spin these type of gears?

no they do not mate one is 15/38 30% longer and other one is 14/39 is 18% almost 2x the gearing
