I am recording this with the Elgato HD60S, at its max setting. 1080p 60 fps, 40 Mbps bitrate. And it still looks like crap with the RUclips compression. thanks for uploading! I assume the biggest difference is the jump to 60fps and better texture quality/filtering. It looks great on X in 4K so a res bump won't make a huge difference alone.

Yea you get the initial load into the game. Once you're in you're playing non stop. Other than 1 second black screens from time to time, i haven't actually seen much loading at all
Panic Button has been around for a while and they produced some impressive ports for Nintendo Switch, like Doom, Wolfenstein and Rocket League, among others.

Wait...are dynamic headlight shadows gone completely? I could've sworn that the 4K30 mode on Xbox One X featured dynamic headlight shadows. Is there only one setting on Xbox Series X that allows you to play at 4K60 without the dynamic headlight shadows, or is there another setting that enables them at the expense of framerate again?

If you bring up the pause menu when you're not at your house or the festival, then go into Settings and Video, there's a "Graphics Mode" setting on the Xbox One X version that lets you choose between Quality and Performance. I assume that's where you'd find the setting on Xbox Series X.
@@nooxs9387 Bummer. That's an odd choice, as they're so much more noticeable during races. I hope it's just an oversight that'll eventually be patched so the shadows appear properly during races, as well.

There doesn't seem to be any night time dynamic shadows, so if this is indeed the optimized version running at 4K on XSX then it's not running at PC's ultra settings. Even on XB1X it had dynamic shadows in 4K 30fps mode.

Okay, so. What worked for me was unplugging my mouse and keyboard from my xbox, and watching the entire load up stuff in the beginning of the game, without pressing a. Then it let me load right in, no problem. Let me know if it works dude

@@justinmadison513 Yeah i've been playing racing games since Gran Turismo 2. FH4 has everything that i should like but it just is so boring and full of handholding. The menu system is terrible, online play sucks and progression is locked behind lootboxes aka. "wheelspins".
I'll do a comparison video Xbox series x and one x later when I can. But there are differences here and there. Though I doubt on youtube with the compression you can see anything

If you bought it from Microsoft store there is a fair chance you will get it early. The will ship it at monday and shipment takes 3 to 7 days

60 is key even with 4K. Looks so fluid on my new monitor. My eyes were on fire lol

Idk I think my sx does have the shadow lights but I get graphical pop ins and textures loading in on the stone walls as I drive by. 1440p @ 60fps .

In video settings on the series x there are no graphics options. It seems its got one mode and thats it lol

It is. You cant see the 4k here because my capture card only goes up to 1080p sadly. But I tested on my 4k monitor and it plays well
