      @@MathSciTutor - Ken still doesn't explain what exactly a Magnetic Field is. He label's such as.... *"Ether Perturbation"*
      That doesn't explain what a Field is. That describes what a Field does. That's not the definition of what a Field is but rather what you think it does.
      If someone could define what a Magnetic Field is beyond dodging the question. That would be great.

    Looking at those opposing magnetic fields, It makes perfect sense to me now As to why certain anti-gravity systems that rely on magnetic fields utilize forcing 2 or more opposing magnets together to create magnetic fields that expand beyond the magnets, creating a "disk" of flux surrounding the forced together magnets.

  • @asvarien
    @asvarien 5 лет назад +2

    Why do magnets have lines of flux rather than a uniform field?

    • @MathSciTutor
      @MathSciTutor 5 лет назад +3

      From what I can tell - magnetism without anything in the field is a uniform field. The presence of anything ferrous within the field changes the field by its presence. That gets represented as lines of flux because the ferrous particles align themselves within the field and repel all their neighbors creating the flux line representation. I hope this was not too confusing:)

      Well, if you know everything about silicone casting, particle physics, magnets and how to combine those.
      But most people who're gonna try this would totally mess this up with any less explanation.
      Only remark I'd have would be him saying let's get started twice in a row.
      There was this other video about coil and magnets to which it did semi apply though.

    . Magnetic fluxes have a three-dimensional structure and cannot be transmitted in a flat form. In addition, if you use iron filings, then you get the result of their interaction with magnetic fluxes and not the form of the fluxes themselves.
    . I made a sensor/indicator that allows to get at least an idea of how the magnet works. Good luck!
    . Магнитные потоки имеют объёмную структуру и в плоском виде их не передать. К тому же, если вы используете железные опилки, то вы получаете результат их взаимодействия с магнитными потоками а не вид самих потоков.
    . Я сделал датчик/индикатор позволяющий хоть приблизительно получить представление о том как работает магнит. Удачи!

    If only a magnet could be positioned in a central region of a liquid suspension containing ferro magnetic particles that are locally bound but able to rotate (quasi crystalline is it? Or something of the sort anyway.)
    If a means of visualising the suspensions alignment somehow, we might get a decent representation of the field as a whole. Undoubtedly it would identify discrepancies that would be indicative of unknown, unknowns but from this point, the properties and characteristics of the suspension could be amended and an even clearer representation could be achieved.
    Of the fields interaction anyhow, my head hurts when trying to grasp the feasibility of interacting/detecting something without altering it to, too much of a degree that it could be considered authentic.
    Even if it is not altered, it would be dampened...

    Hi. Many thanks for this video. Have you done one with a magnet submerged in that liquid with the iron powder already mixed in? I know it is sacrificing a magnet but should produce a true 3D image of the field around a magnet...or would it just draw all the powder onto itself?

  • @jnhrtmn

    I don't think magnetism brings the lines to the game. The only reason that you see it is because of the iron filings, and they are probably creating the lines from their reaction to the magnetic field. You don't feel ratcheting between two magnets, because there are no lines.
