Only meliodas can be on asault mode
Estarossa actually doesn't have assault mode. The one you saw was when he absorbed Galand and Monspeet's commandments.

Hotti wasn’t the studio, they had to make this intire season in like 8 months with a way too small team, that does not change the fact they made this trash and other filler parts good but yea just know that^^.
