Awesome, series! I found you on IG/Twitter, and am very excited to see the RUclips channel now! Excellent minis. I've never thought to do the decals/transfers after basecoats and then matt varnish them in. I've always wondered how people had such smooth looking decals, and I think the method you showed in part 1 was stellar. Thanks for sharing!
Thank you so much! I'm really happy that you found it useful! I plan to do more detailed videos about specific things like decals, oil washing etc, in the future :)
Brilliant series to follow. You have a very good layout for making these tutorial videos that make them very easy to follow. I noticed you showed you chaplain toward the end of the video, could you tell us about the colours used on that model? Or maybe even do a tutorial for chaplain too. Keep up the great work!
Thank you! For the chaplain I used Vallejo Dark Sea Blue to airbursh highlights, added a drop of white to it, added spot highlights, then used a black wash to bring it closer to black and darken it down. I will be using the same process soon for my Death Company (different colours of highlights but the same process) and for my Chaplain on a Bike,
