Is it possible or practical to play this tune on a resonator guitar with a regular slide. Or does the lap style - both the slide and lap position - give you some abilities to fret notes or otherwise play that regular slide guitar position won't allow? I'm hoping you say 'yes' because a Weissenborn isn't the budget right now! Thanks.
Hi Jody, Yes it is. There's a video on my intstagram @martinharleymusic which might help. The tuning is D minor. Start the riff on the 4 chord. I play it on regular slide as well as Weisssenborn. Hope that helps.
