So you do not use the Word of God but interpret the word of god. If Word of God is inspired by God and is infallible then how do men add to its meaning by interpretation? Is the word of god hidden from us that we need to interpret it?
Catholics interpret Sacred Scripture in obedience to that teaching authority which Jesus Christ gave His Church. Protestants interpret Scripture on their own self-appropriated "authority".

The individual/group seeks to arrive at doctrinal certitude, whilst at the same time ignoring the fact that the practice results in different and opposing conclusions. They do not believe in the final authority of the Catholic Church throughout time

I don’t think interpretation is about “adding” meaning, but all language is symbolic to some extent & must be interpreted to be understood
