what you need to understand is supply & demand here in uk there is so many barber shops.we are a island.would people spend £70/85$ on haircuts not a chance..would not work at all you got lads coming in every week at £80 a week thats big money for customers..uk & american economy is to totally different markets..Recession is here tech companys big corps making huge cuts to people..you carnt implement U.S strategies to U.K sorry mate
I agree so much Chris! the UK game is on its way up! but I believe it’s a lot harder to become an owner and open more shops and get barbers in, if you’re from a smaller town like myself in South Wales, there are only a hand full of barber shops and only a few of those are run by a shop owner with a team of barbers working. Opening more shops with a team of barbers that I believe to be the best around is my dream, but it is significantly harder to achieve for us. There are other factors that play in this and I would love to speak to you, I will try my best to make a class or two as soon as possible, Josh OP, yourself and tomb 45 are changing the game worldwide especially for us young and aspirational barbers❤️❤️❤️
What makes south wales any different than middle of nowhere states like Mississippi or Montana? These places have really small towns as well and we’ve been able to duplicate success there too
Totally different to the states I know barbers that own 3/4 shops with 5/6 in each so it’s not that we behind the mentality of clients no matter how good the service or cut they with go somewhere else if it’s cheaper so everyone undercuts and the trade get devalued
Chris not only in UK in EUROPE like germany also our barber suck’s and we don’t have so many barber’s that’s why we have to order from US we have to connect each other!
