I never thought I would say that but: Wouldn't it be kinda amazing if Jenna would actually come back as the next doctor? I mean the chances of that happening aren't really high but I mean the Doctor has assumed faces from the past before and since she practically was the Doctor at times it would make so much sense.
I can't say how much i wished they did that, but of course if they gave here the same team and storys that Jodie now has i guess she also couldn't made much more of it. Still, the last season with Peter Capaldi was for me already way worse without her, Bill just didn't gave me much.
I want to say Rose, but given those specific terms cute and adorable, I'll give you that. If you'd said "best companion", I'd definitely cough in Rose.
She is the lovely, adorable, Impossible Girl, and we love her. The original script called for her to leave in "Last Christmas", and indeed, it would have been wrong, so the script was rewritten to keep her there. Season 9 would have been so much less with a different companion, and we wouldn't have had the "Face the Raven/Heaven Sent/Hell Bent" trilogy.
She is such a talented actor and also really so very beautiful! I'm liking what I'm hearing about the Doctor and Clara's relationship and what their time in the TARDIS will be like in the upcoming series of Doctor Who! Can't wait! #doctorwho #series9 (aka #series35 ) #bbc #bbc1 #bbcamerica #petecapaldi #jennacoleman #september19 #soexcited #cantwait
Montanino She's my favorite companion, but I do think that after series 9, she will have had a long enough stay. Anyway, we already know she's going. She landed the main role in another series (Victoria) and will need to leave Doctor Who to film it.
Martha was so good, definitely not as good as Rose, but that was part of it... her unrequited love for the Doctor meant she could never touch the heights of Rose, but there was a distinctly different dynamic going on that wasn't just boring platonic companion yet again.
L̶a̶d̶y̶ Fox Wolfae same I recently watched the Matt Smith era and I was very upset and probably depressed that Matt and her didn’t get more time together
I can relate. I cried watching Face the Raven. I was very angry and sad. I still daren't watch that episode again. My heart stops when I screenshots around her death scene.
I'm sure Clara inhabits the entire multiverse after seeing her in Captain America The First Avenger. I'd also like to think she's in Trek somewhere, working for Section 31...
more space bound? good! because the doctor offers all of time and space but they seem to focus to time more than anything else. I'd love to see a more expanded universe and adventures that don't revolve around earth.
Almost as if she has ambition and wants success..She stayed on the show for just the right amount of time..Her story was told and Jenna needed to move onto other roles..She has been a great success as Victoria...Hopefully she can find other projects to challenge her..
No, she never did. I can believe Harry flirting with her, but I think she is too dedicated to the arts to allow herself to get tied down by royal etiquette and rules.
I respect her opinion, but i feel shes taking over. As an actor and her person, i like her, but her actual doctor who character (Clara) is beginning to get on my nerves. One episode which stuck in my mind was Into the Dalek where she almost - in my view- took over which really annoyed me. I realize its an amazing place to work but her actual character is becoming so good, its almost taking over the doctor. Series 8 i almost feel like it was more about Danny and Clara and not anything else and all this throwing TARDIS keys into lava etc really got on my nerves. I'm fine with her staying but her character is almost learning too much. I really like Clara, shes a pretty good character but i do wait for the episode where the doctor is finding someone new. I do like those episodes.
DJ007Guay Thats exactly how i see it. I also saw something the other day about how the more 'modern' doctors are like the tom baker doctor as he was also a much loved doctor like david tennant. Now, theres 1 series very year now which is usually i think aroun 12-13 episodes. Tom baker did 172 episodes in 7years which is a fantastic amount! I found out that theres a 9month wait now between each series. Even if todays doctor were to go on for 7years, with 13episodes in every series and only 1per year, thats only 91 episodes. Now dont get me wrong, they r great quality but thats almost 100less episodes than tom baker achieved. Im just thinking that its changing so much that they are actually not focussing on keeping the stories kinda traditional if you like instead of focussing on the companions so much and the quality.
She might win the most attractive human award. Geez
Yep
Might? She definitely is
awww, she loves working with peter
Go to hell
The Flash forever ??.?

Rita Lucia I'd love that
She definitely should, some day. She was already awesome as Clara that playing the doctor would just be absolutely brilliant 🥰
I can't say how much i wished they did that, but of course if they gave here the same team and storys that Jodie now has i guess she also couldn't made much more of it.

I’ve been saying that for a while. She’d be amazing
She's so damn cute and adorable.
The cutest 🌸

I think Peter and Jenna work good together and it will be sad to see them depart from each other it is very sad

Jemma is amazing in Dr. Who, she is the best companion the Doctor can have
+Official Filmilen Jenna. Jemma is the one who plays Kate.
Montanino She's my favorite companion, but I do think that after series 9, she will have had a long enough stay. Anyway, we already know she's going. She landed the main role in another series (Victoria) and will need to leave Doctor Who to film it.
Coughs in Rose
She is so adorable.
She's so pretty. Also, First!
I love her nose.
It's so tiny :D
Oh same! Glad I wasn’t the only one. Even though, you know, I’m bout a year late, but that’s fine.
It's adorable
Does anyone have a link for the interview where Jenna gives advice to aspiring companions?
he is a good actor, I just wish Martha had stuck around for another year too
Martha was so good, definitely not as good as Rose, but that was part of it... her unrequited love for the Doctor meant she could never touch the heights of Rose, but there was a distinctly different dynamic going on that wasn't just boring platonic companion yet again.
I still miss her being companion to Matt Smith!
L̶a̶d̶y̶ Fox Wolfae same I recently watched the Matt Smith era and I was very upset and probably depressed that Matt and her didn’t get more time together
I wish she could've been the first female Doctor. (2019)
she's Insanely talented!
Sorry for being late but I watched Doctor Who a few years after Jenna Coleman left and I was really sad with a late reaction to her dying.
I can relate. I cried watching Face the Raven. I was very angry and sad. I still daren't watch that episode again. My heart stops when I screenshots around her death scene.
my crush
Beautiful and polite impossible girl
I'm so sad your leaving Jenna don't really like the actor taking over might not watch after you have gone
I would love to be her friend. I just want to get to know her like fr not just what is able to be conveyed in interviews
Is she staying for the whole season?
thank you for replying :)
"She's still running off to the stationary cupboard for adventures" I think we know what that means ;)
I'm sure Clara inhabits the entire multiverse after seeing her in Captain America The First Avenger. I'd also like to think she's in Trek somewhere, working for Section 31...
Elle est vraiment sublime.

Well then... why did she choose to leave?

Don't worry about it, I've commented on comments like 7 years ago, and thanks for the information!

Oh God, how did you like the 13th? What a time to discover Doctor Who!
This is so sad now that she is ready to leave Doctor Who behind for more money
Almost as if she has ambition and wants success..She stayed on the show for just the right amount of time..Her story was told and Jenna needed to move onto other roles..She has been a great success as Victoria...Hopefully she can find other projects to challenge her..
pity if she is really dating the prince!! she is lovely as an actress.... and let us be honest.. she is a great person but the prince deserves better!
+marcella If you ask me, Jenna is the one who deserves better.
No, she never did. I can believe Harry flirting with her, but I think she is too dedicated to the arts to allow herself to get tied down by royal etiquette and rules.

I agree with you! In season 8 I thought that we would see the development of the new doctor but almost everything was about Clara
DJ007Guay Thats exactly how i see it.

+Purple Vortex She is leaving now for a show called Victoria D:
Purple Vortex It would take a lot of writing and editing to create such a big amount of episodes :S
+DJ007Guay Yeah I know but I just feel like...I dunno how to describe it :3
