Oh my goodness… I wish I watched this before I started working on my cards. I didn’t know what the acetate was for and I cut and glued each little piece
Yikes! Sounds like a lot of work! I can't tell you how many times I've done something the hard way and then see a tip or trick and I was like, oh man!!!! lol!

It would have been nice to see how you put your 3" strips onto the acetate. You go from cutting 3" long strips to suddenly having these finished strips but you don't actually show what you did so I am still in the dark!!

edges over to the back.

I’m so sorry. I have to edit edit edit and sometimes too much gets cut out. Let me try to help. ❤ After you cut the acetate 12” x 3” you cut you’re strips of paper ( pattern paper , cardstock or glitter paper) 1/2” wide and 3” long and line the first one up with the top of the acetate straight across. Glue with a glue runner, no liquid glue. Then just leave approximately 1/16th of an inch in between each strip. It’s ok if at the end you are a little over or under. After they are all glued down you cut you’re acetate that has the paper already glued into 6 long strips, 1/2” x 12” each one. Let me know if that helps, if not I will send you a little demonstration video or some photos.
All you do is layout the 3 inch strips in the order that you want them, apply the glue from your tape runner to the backside of the strips and lay them down about 1/8th of an inch apart. You may have some of one strip hanging off the end of the acetate but that is ok because you won't use ALL of every acetate strip. I hope that helps.
@@tawnyaroberts7028 So you only had acetate on one side then. It looked like acetate on both sides like a sandwich. In the finished card is the acetate on top or underneath?
