It is up to an individual to be interested or practice any, all, or none; or specialize in any particular path.
Religions (Christianity, Islam, Communism, Fascism, etc.) are brainwashing systems for social control. Each claims exclusive truth, all others evil, and assumes divine right and duty to attack others. Violence is the central theme. Religions are sets of doctrines to believe and sets of commandments to obey, without any questions. This is militarization of society which is the totalitarian control of individuals leading to 'we vs. they', 'we are superior', ‘misogyny’, and 'violence.’

Religion need not be scientific, has to be spiritual. So the question defies first logic.
Hinduism if it goes by mere faith or belief, it is co-eval with all other faith based religions. In some of its practices like Ahimsa, it is a shade superior.
If one gets into philosophical enquiries, (which is pre runner of all religions and science and logic), Sanatana Dharma wins hands down.
While I mention this I must acknowledge that the target of any/all spiritual enquiries of most other religions as well, know already the Reality aspect, but are bemused into following mundane religious aspects only, from practical considerations. Our dharma fortunately delved into the higher principles even before the west dominated market economy invaded to spoil the party!

What's the use of defending scriptures...... You yourself will fall into it once you realise yourself. Its not a belief system..... it will come from within once you reach the level of truth yourself. Realisation of Truth cannot be monopoly for a selected few only, as in other religions.
What is the science behind spoiling gallons of milk in washing statues in temple? What is the science in eating only veg-food knowing very well that body needs both veg n non veg? What is the science of offering money in temples? Who takes these money? What is scientific about pran pratistha in statues when they can't revive our slain soldiers?
