Ladies: DO NOT CARRY A KNIFE. Knives require you to be very close to your opponent and it is way too easy for it to get turned around on you. Just don’t do it.
The problem is that women who carry a knife are not prepared to use it - not just technically, but mentally either. Knife is to kill. Period. It is not just to learn how to use efectively - to shut down the attacker immediately so it cannot be turned against you - but mentally, emotionally prepared to this action, so she does not freeze. Most of the women I have seen on the tranings even have problems to hit another person. One has panicked when after a good hit (the only one she did on the training) I just shouted "auu" but said to continue. It did hurt, but did not stop me. But she just stayed there frozen and in panic. Really she should have a knife for self defense????

i appreciate this video a lot. it's a bitter truth to face, but it doesn't mean it's insurmountable. any "man" that needs to attack a woman, much less a smaller woman, is a coward. if you're willing to fight back, you've already won at least a third of the battle. Gabby mentions palm strike to the ears, which is a great tactic. I want to add grabbing and pulling the ears. Very debilitating, no matter how big and strong an attacker is. Guarantee they'll yield to keep from getting their ears ripped off.
@Ryan Alex not necessarily. I had three instances in high school with bullies, people that just seemed to have it out for me. Once I showed I was ready to take it there, it stopped all the b.s. there's a good chance that same mentality pervades guys that look to attack women.

Very important video; we had an incident here in the UK a while back where a woman was killed by a police officer. Everyone on social media including the Mainstream media and government officials decided to blame all men and tell them "stop attacking women" (yeah I'm sure they're gonna listen). Information like this is way more effective in my opinion.
I'm a grown man but I'm paying attention as you instruct us what to do because to be honest even though I'm a man, I'm quiet weak physically, my grips so soft. Hell even some women around me are powerful than me.

Excellent video. Yes, it’s good for all people to be circumspective. Examine your surroundings all the time. Some people may think that’s being paranoid, but it’s not, especially if one gets into a bad situation. If a male is going to accost a female and, let’s say, the male is drunk, and then I say a woman has a good chance of tripping the perpetrator (Judo can help here) and getting a chance to escape. 🥋
I'm ready for more of these Women's Self Defense videos and I'm a guy! In my opinion this is the most honest straight-forward instructive video of its kind. Fighting is an ugly business to be avoided, if possible. Escape is the next best thing, if not. However, ALL must assume a surprise attack encounter at some point in life. WATCH THIS VIDEO and future videos on this topic. This video is the beginning of your self-defense! If you can learn AWARENESS do so. Most wild animals have a sense of awareness of their surroundings. I wish I had greater awareness. This is one of the greatest tools in life you can own. Makes sense but I think she should've mentioned Ninjutsu (no weapon is a weapon) amongst her techniques; because a woman beeing attacked would be afraid to anger the assailant by doing the three W's (W.indows/eyes, W.ind -pipe, W.heels/groin/knees) but grabbing the fist in her hair and immediately stooping to grab a handful of dirt to throw in the assailant's eyes would be more profitable)
I don't recommend a strike to groin while he has your hair. It will make it 10x worse. I know you're trying to get away. So do what you gotta do..He would throw a knockout punch with his right hand very quickly
I think it is much better to study an actual system, than to take a few selfdefense classes. When you train a system you're constantly reinforcing the material through tons of repetition. Great video.
I understand that what you're saing here certainly applies to an "average" woman, but I'm absolutely sure that when it comes to you, a regular untrained guy, even if much stronger than you, would have no chance with you in a fight :)

With the average man attacking her, she would have a good chance, more than most people at getting away, a lot of male attackers are drunk, or looking for people who aren't going to put up a fight. That is why screaming and acting erratic is often very effective. However, in an actual fight, where both people are trying to cause injury to the other, not where one person is trying to have their way with the other one, things would go very differently. There is a reason why professional female boxers ranked the highest in the world lose to average man pretty much the same size as them. And that is while wearing boxing gloves.

I have a question. How come there is only women self defense class. I’m not against it or anything, there is nothing wrong with women learning self defense. Everybody doesn’t matter man or women should learn how to protect themsleves. But my question is why is there such a thing called “women’s self defence class” cause women’s self defence class isn’t that different from regular self defense class the only difference is that one has men and women and one just has women. It’s kinda confusing to me cause everything you taught rn is taught is most regular self defense classes, in my opinion I see it a little separating but that’s what I’m thinking I might be wrong. It’s just a little od that they only made a self defense class for one gender even tho they teach the same thing in those classes when it comes to self defense. I know what you’re thinking “it’s cause most attackers are men” or “men are better able to defend themselves” that is tru to an extent, atleast 75-80% of the time it’s a male who is the attacker, and yes it’s higher for a man to defend himself. But that doesn’t mean women don’t attack women or women don’t attack men. I’m just saying it in a ethcial point of veiw. But my main point is that it doesn’t really make sense to have a women’s self defense class if everything your teaching can be taught in a regular self defense class, and I know men are indeed stronger than women but I don’t see how that’s a reason to make a self defense class for only one gender. So there has to be another reason for it. Cause at the end of the day 90% of rape victims are women and 80% of homicides are men. And yes I’m aware that 70% of those attackers were men. But that still doesn’t really make it a reason to have a self defense class for one gender. At the end of the day nobody is safe. It’s 2022 people got guns and knives and nobody is safe in day or night. I just don’t get why there has ti be a self defense class for only one gender. And you can’t use reason like “cause most men are attackers” or “women are more vulnerable” Although it’s tru, doesn’t mean that you have to make a martial arts class for one gender. Cause either way women can learn proper self defense class when being in a gym with both men and women. So that’s why I think it’s a little od. Cause yes you’re right most men are the attackers not all attackers are men but most of them are, but that still doesn’t make sense on why you have to make a martial arts class for one gender, like I said 90% of rape victims are women and 80% of homicides are men, I know women don’t feel safe but neither do men cause at the end of the day nobody is bullet proof. All I’m saying is that everything that is being taught can be taught in a regular martial arts class. I’ve had extremely traumatic experiences from being attacked by both men and women and send me to the hospital, my point is that nobody is safe and just cause most attackers are men Doesnt really make it a good reason to make a self defense class for one gender cause at the end of the day both genders can be violent and yes most of those people are men. But that doesn’t mean you should make a martial arts class for only women cause of those bad men and when there are good men trying to learn self defense and the same thing goes for women. I think everybody should learn self defense, but most men being attackers or cause women are weaker doesn’t mean there should be a martial arts class for one gender. It’s quite separating. But that’s just my opinion. At the end of the day ethically speaking, All this can be taught in a regular self defense class and it would probably be a lot better than a martial arts class that is one gender cause it’s both genders in a gym and makes it more equal for people. If someone wants to learn som kind of self-defense, they should not go feminist self-defense classes, because most of them is nothing but a damn joke. I have a lot of female friends and acquaintances who have gone feminist self-defense over the years and then wanted to show me grapples and throws they learned. When they then asked me to "act perpetrators" (and grab them and hold them), it ended every time with them complained that I have held them "in the wrong way" and that they could not show the grip because of that. I am a pacifist and have never practiced any form of martial arts (played some ice hockey as a teenager) but I am a big guy who is stronger than most people, about 140 kg distributed over 188 cm (about 308 lbs and 6 ft 2 in) and not someone who people wanna fight with (have stopped many fights over the years when idiots have assaulted others). But it feels a bit awkward when someone claim that they just do not get you down with a throw/grip because the opponent is wrong. Yeah right, they can try to say that if they meet a real perpetrator sometime. Sorry if my English sucks, but its not my native language (from Sweden).
I agree to an EXTENT.. womens self defense that actually means it.. simply offers options that you could EMPLOY.. the REALITY is SOMETHING is better then NOTHING.. not all me are equal in terms of size and weight just like women aren’t so it VARIOUS in how much of much of a chance u have.. again NOTHING = NO CHANCE.. also everyone is an ADULT.. no intelligent person won’t grasp TRAINING matters a lot.. Please any women do not use any of the technical moves that this lady is showing if you slap someone in the ear it's not going to do anything. Don't punch someone in the throat it doesn't work. I've been punched by a man in the throat and it really hurt but it didn't do anything doesn't break your windpipe that doesn't happen except for maybe like some rare accident. I don’t think so at all. I grew up around men. Been training with men my entire life. Surrounded by men in gyms. I have 5 older brothers and an amazing father. I think mass categorization and grouping all men into a single idea is a terrible way to go about thinking as a whole. It certainly doesn’t help society. And it certainly isn’t the truth. This video speaks on a very particular evil. And not all men should be grouped to that evil.

Ladies: DO NOT CARRY A KNIFE. Knives require you to be very close to your opponent and it is way too easy for it to get turned around on you. Just don’t do it.
The problem is that women who carry a knife are not prepared to use it - not just technically, but mentally either. Knife is to kill. Period. It is not just to learn how to use efectively - to shut down the attacker immediately so it cannot be turned against you - but mentally, emotionally prepared to this action, so she does not freeze. Most of the women I have seen on the tranings even have problems to hit another person. One has panicked when after a good hit (the only one she did on the training) I just shouted "auu" but said to continue. It did hurt, but did not stop me. But she just stayed there frozen and in panic. Really she should have a knife for self defense????

i appreciate this video a lot. it's a bitter truth to face, but it doesn't mean it's insurmountable. any "man" that needs to attack a woman, much less a smaller woman, is a coward. if you're willing to fight back, you've already won at least a third of the battle. Gabby mentions palm strike to the ears, which is a great tactic. I want to add grabbing and pulling the ears. Very debilitating, no matter how big and strong an attacker is. Guarantee they'll yield to keep from getting their ears ripped off.

Very important video; we had an incident here in the UK a while back where a woman was killed by a police officer. Everyone on social media including the Mainstream media and government officials decided to blame all men and tell them "stop attacking women" (yeah I'm sure they're gonna listen). Information like this is way more effective in my opinion.

I always think ‘ keep it simple but efficient/effective .’ The goal is always to get away and survive. Unfortunately i think it’s just a fact of life nowadays that you can become a victim real easy. So yes, think ahead, pay attention about your safety, your life is your most valuable possession. Excellent video. Yes, it’s good for all people to be circumspective. Examine your surroundings all the time. Some people may think that’s being paranoid, but it’s not, especially if one gets into a bad situation. If a male is going to accost a female and, let’s say, the male is drunk, and then I say a woman has a good chance of tripping the perpetrator (Judo can help here) and getting a chance to escape. 🥋
I'm ready for more of these Women's Self Defense videos and I'm a guy! In my opinion this is the most honest straight-forward instructive video of its kind. Fighting is an ugly business to be avoided, if possible. Escape is the next best thing, if not. However, ALL must assume a surprise attack encounter at some point in life. WATCH THIS VIDEO and future videos on this topic. This video is the beginning of your self-defense!
If you can learn AWARENESS do so. Most wild animals have a sense of awareness of their surroundings. I wish I had greater awareness. This is one of the greatest tools in life you can own. Awareness does no harm to others, while awareness may save your life. Train yourself in awareness.

Makes sense but I think she should've mentioned Ninjutsu (no weapon is a weapon) amongst her techniques; because a woman beeing attacked would be afraid to anger the assailant by doing the three W's (W.indows/eyes, W.ind -pipe, W.heels/groin/knees) but grabbing the fist in her hair and immediately stooping to grab a handful of dirt to throw in the assailant's eyes would be more profitable)
I don't recommend a strike to groin while he has your hair. It will make it 10x worse. I know you're trying to get away. So do what you gotta do..He would throw a knockout punch with his right hand very quickly

With the average man attacking her, she would have a good chance, more than most people at getting away, a lot of male attackers are drunk, or looking for people who aren't going to put up a fight. That is why screaming and acting erratic is often very effective.
However, in an actual fight, where both people are trying to cause injury to the other, not where one person is trying to have their way with the other one, things would go very differently. There is a reason why professional female boxers ranked the highest in the world lose to average man pretty much the same size as them. And that is while wearing boxing gloves.
her training gives her a better chance than without, but you have to understand that a man is simply built different. Just like how the biggest guy in the world would get wrecked by a chimpanzee very quickly. Body structure, muscle mass, even the way our neurons connect, etc is very different.
Think of it among human history, the men that survived intense battles are the ones that reproduced. For women they had different pressures on their survival.

I have a question. How come there is only women self defense class. I’m not against it or anything, there is nothing wrong with women learning self defense. Everybody doesn’t matter man or women should learn how to protect themsleves. But my question is why is there such a thing called “women’s self defence class” cause women’s self defence class isn’t that different from regular self defense class the only difference is that one has men and women and one just has women. It’s kinda confusing to me cause everything you taught rn is taught is most regular self defense classes, in my opinion I see it a little separating but that’s what I’m thinking I might be wrong. It’s just a little od that they only made a self defense class for one gender even tho they teach the same thing in those classes when it comes to self defense. I know what you’re thinking “it’s cause most attackers are men” or “men are better able to defend themselves” that is tru to an extent, atleast 75-80% of the time it’s a male who is the attacker, and yes it’s higher for a man to defend himself. But that doesn’t mean women don’t attack women or women don’t attack men. I’m just saying it in a ethcial point of veiw. But my main point is that it doesn’t really make sense to have a women’s self defense class if everything your teaching can be taught in a regular self defense class, and I know men are indeed stronger than women but I don’t see how that’s a reason to make a self defense class for only one gender. So there has to be another reason for it. Cause at the end of the day 90% of rape victims are women and 80% of homicides are men. And yes I’m aware that 70% of those attackers were men. But that still doesn’t really make it a reason to have a self defense class for one gender. At the end of the day nobody is safe. It’s 2022 people got guns and knives and nobody is safe in day or night. I just don’t get why there has ti be a self defense class for only one gender. And you can’t use reason like “cause most men are attackers” or “women are more vulnerable” Although it’s tru, doesn’t mean that you have to make a martial arts class for one gender. Cause either way women can learn proper self defense class when being in a gym with both men and women. So that’s why I think it’s a little od. Cause yes you’re right most men are the attackers not all attackers are men but most of them are, but that still doesn’t make sense on why you have to make a martial arts class for one gender, like I said 90% of rape victims are women and 80% of homicides are men, I know women don’t feel safe but neither do men cause at the end of the day nobody is bullet proof. All I’m saying is that everything that is being taught can be taught in a regular martial arts class. And you can’t make a martial arts class for only one gender cause most attackers are men, or cause women feel vulnerable cause at end of the day nobody is safe. I’ve had extremely traumatic experiences from being attacked by both men and women and send me to the hospital, my point is that nobody is safe and just cause most attackers are men Doesnt really make it a good reason to make a self defense class for one gender cause at the end of the day both genders can be violent and yes most of those people are men. But that doesn’t mean you should make a martial arts class for only women cause of those bad men and when there are good men trying to learn self defense and the same thing goes for women. I think everybody should learn self defense, but most men being attackers or cause women are weaker doesn’t mean there should be a martial arts class for one gender. It’s quite separating. But that’s just my opinion. At the end of the day ethically speaking, All this can be taught in a regular self defense class and it would probably be a lot better than a martial arts class that is one gender cause it’s both genders in a gym and makes it more equal for people. or another way to describe it, imagine hitting your funny bone on your elbow but that feeling is in your stomach and radiates outward across your entire body. imagine hitting your funny bone and that feeling persists for several minutes across your entire body with added piercing pain that pulsates in waves for a long time.
which is also why guys take up so much room when they sit. lol just slight pressure on the boys is extremely uncomfortable.

If someone wants to learn som kind of self-defense, they should not go feminist self-defense classes, because most of them is nothing but a damn joke.
I have a lot of female friends and acquaintances who have gone feminist self-defense over the years and then wanted to show me grapples and throws they learned. When they then asked me to "act perpetrators" (and grab them and hold them), it ended every time with them complained that I have held them "in the wrong way" and that they could not show the grip because of that.
I am a pacifist and have never practiced any form of martial arts (played some ice hockey as a teenager) but I am a big guy who is stronger than most people, about 140 kg distributed over 188 cm (about 308 lbs and 6 ft 2 in) and not someone who people wanna fight with (have stopped many fights over the years when idiots have assaulted others). But it feels a bit awkward when someone claim that they just do not get you down with a throw/grip because the opponent is wrong. Yeah right, they can try to say that if they meet a real perpetrator sometime.

I’m got push on the ground by an ex and he tried to get on top of my but I was a mad lad .. actually wet worm in a tantrum kick like crazy… didnt matter he was like 2times my weight he still had to get a hold of my feet to not get kicked.. well he caught a pretty hard kick to this jaw enough to knock him backwards and gave me time to get up and get outside… SOMETHING IS BETTER THEN NOTHING… nobody actually is saying watch my video and immediately become a master shehulk and beat up men… we know for a fact in domestic cases women sometime manage to fight off the guy to escape… we all seen some vids.. like one where women is in the gym at nite and fights of the guy trying to grab her… disadvantage doesn’t mean IMPOSSIBLE… the more u learn the better prepared u are .. it HELPS with disadvantages… men here.. would u rather have ur daughter learn SOMETHING rather then NOTHING.. learning something doesn’t mean we now look for fights to show off what we learned.. 😂 I’d rather have girls at least manage to grab on a guys neck and hug tight rather then pushed down to be easily punch.. SOMETHING u never never .. guy might relent if u struggle hard enough.. not all men are equally aggressive.. learn something and tbh practice with a guy friend for FUN.. u never know 1% chance is still not 0% FYI Al situations usually of woman’s self defense are PASSED using a weapon.. aka the man’s GOT U and ur passed the stage of a weapon.. also glad someone else pointed out .. don’t grab a knife.. her logic is if u stab him u win EXCEPT if u stab him he might still beat ur ass then stab YOU with the same knife if he didn’t already take the knife from u before u had the chance to stab him.. Please any women do not use any of the technical moves that this lady is showing if you slap someone in the ear it's not going to do anything. Don't punch someone in the throat it doesn't work. I've been punched by a man in the throat and it really hurt but it didn't do anything doesn't break your windpipe that doesn't happen except for maybe like some rare accident.
Go take a martial arts class and avoid bad situations and you will already be 80% better off

I don’t think so at all. I grew up around men. Been training with men my entire life. Surrounded by men in gyms. I have 5 older brothers and an amazing father.
I think mass categorization and grouping all men into a single idea is a terrible way to go about thinking as a whole. It certainly doesn’t help society. And it certainly isn’t the truth. This video speaks on a very particular evil. And not all men should be grouped to that evil.

ear slap can rupture the ear drum. if it hits flat, it is devastating and they will be deaf in that ear.
it was something taught in basic training for the military. it is very effective if it hits flat on the ear.
