I cant say how happy it makes me seeing people trying to make their own cloths again. The whole DIY tradition of Goth is something that should return. Old guy getting a little nostalgia kick from this. 😃
not only did you save money but I think it would be self-satisfying..you have bragging rights girl😊👍
You did a nice job on this. I remember back in the day it was all DIY items. It was curious but also fascinating how creative people can be using their imagination.
So cute and easy!!! Lovely proyect. Also, a little tip: as the elastic is going to be smaller than the circumference of your hips, you need to stretch the elastic as you sew the fabrics onto it. For me it is easier to divide both (elastic and the fabric) into quarters and mark each with a pin, then you pin your fabric and your elastic together at those points and you know how much you should stretch your elastic each quarter. I hope the explanation is clear enough
I actually did that! so I pinned everything first evenly and then sewed it all together. I really tried my best to make it but ill try and give a more clear 'tutorial' or explanation in the future too, even if I really do still struggle 😅
It looks really good and I love that type.
And it's good you show others that it don't have to be hard to make.
Stay safe gorgeous 🦇🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🦇
Your skirt turned out nicely! It's beautiful
so gorgeous and dramatic, like morticia addams in the summer time! 😍
awesome video as per usual, thank you 💜
Thanks for that video! I feel like there are no goth diy tutorials :(
Thanx!
This is awesome, thank you!
I LOVE THIS! I’m also a beginner at sewing as well 😅 I look forward to giving this a try
Sei bellissima 🖤
I FREAKING LOVE THIS! I have no money yet to do it, but deffinitely I will do it in the future 🖤🖤🫀🫀
it's worth visiting a flea market, there are often cheap curtains for sale that can be used to make several skirts
@@JainMonroe In my case the situation is different, in Argentina the markets are different, but I take the idea into account.
@@CyborgTecnology18 Oh, I understand your pain.
This is lovely
As I like to say, "I bought a new skirt with some assembly required."
