Current Events Reveal Why We Need Educational Options

In the news recently, are two situations that clearly demonstrate why parents need educational options for their children---namely the option to homeschool. In Plano, Texas, 13 year old SeMarion Humphrey was subjected to racist bullying. Meanwhile, in Baltimore, Maryland, the mother of a high school junior discovered that her son had only passed 3 out of 22 classes and had a 0.13 g.p.a., which was in the top half of his class.
These situations clearly reveal that we as parents must take alternative steps for the welfare of our children when the educational institutions in this country fail them.
