    These lists are extremely difficult and will vary from player to player and from game to game. Two players with the same exact deck, just based on random card draws, will have vastly different difficulty experiences. Please try and watch as many videos like this as possible to get a more full picture of villain difficulty. Here are some things to remember about this video. I hope you enjoy it!
    This list is based on true solo and that plays a tremendous factor in difficulty
    The amount of players plays a tremendous factor in difficulty
    The Modular’s you are using plays a tremendous factor in difficulty
    The hero you are using plays a factor in difficulty
    The aspect you are using plays a factor in difficulty
    The villains draws plays a factor in difficulty
    Your draws plays a factor in difficulty

      One thing I don't think you mentioned...what difficulty was this list based on? Standard or Expert difficulty? Many villains difficulty changes drastically based on if they are starting the game in Stage 1 or 2.

      @@GaNSiNaTeR that’s a great point. I truly tried to think of the whole picture with all 3 phases included in my thought process. I tried to think through their “gimmick as a whole” but you’re totally right about that.

    Really enjoyed seeing your list! For the most part it’s very similar to my villains list.
    It’s always interesting seeing the Loki vs. Magneto debate. Some people feel Loki is way more difficult and vice versa!

    • @marvelchampionsxp
      @marvelchampionsxp  7 месяцев назад +1

      Hey dude, thanks so much! I love your content by the way, I’ve watched a lot of it!
      I can totally see that argument, and I’m not even upset about it. For me it’s SLIGHTLY in favor of Loki due to the randomness of his forms. You can be prepping something, then BAM, switches forms and messes everything up. Oh, and the Infinity Gauntlet. EF that thing lol.
      Magneto IS difficult, but at least you KNOW what’s coming for the most part. But, if Magneto gets the Gauntlet, I think Magneto is WAY more difficult and it’s not even close

      @@marvelchampionsxp Thanks that means a lot! I love your content too. You were one of the first content creators I've seen of Marvel Champions and really got me into the game so it's crazy hearing that. In terms of Loki vs. Magneto, I used to think Magneto is way tougher but the more I've played them the more I have them closer to each other. I think it's definitely hero dependent and can definitely see some heroes having a wayyy harder time with Loki!

      @@webwarriorfanatic Thanks dude, that’s awesome! Glad you got into the game and are making content too!
      Totally agreed. To me Magneto is JUST BORDERING that line. Like, he’s not more difficult than Ronan or Venom Goblin (to me), and it’s truly only the Gauntlet that puts Loki over the top. I really wish they gave us a way to remove it from him

    Enjoyed the video. Would you ever consider a ranking that focused on the villains/scenarios that you enjoy the most? Or, perhaps, the scenario and modular combinations that you liked or found engaging for whatever reason? For example, which modular set do you like most as the replacement for the Masters of Evil in Klaw? Keep up the fun content!

      Thanks so much!!! I’m really glad you liked the video!
      Ok, I love, love, LOVE that idea!!! I’m 100% going to make a “most fun” video! I do think the “which Modular’s” would be difficult just because there are some cards in Modular’s I’ve never drawn so I don’t know the interaction. But again, I LOVE the idea of which ones I enjoy!

    I can't find an up-to-date tier list maker for this game, can you link the one you used?
    As far as ranks go, I think On the Run, Spiral, Sinister, Collector 1 and Wideawake look too low, while Kang, Collector 2, Sabretooth, and Mutagen seem high.

    Okay at 43:23 ... you can't stun or confuse Thanos, he's ever stalwart. Another reason why he's tough and in my A+ tier. Good video btw, my rankings are slightly similar to yours in some ways.

    Mansion attack have so many variables. It can deceptively easy. if you get the right environment with the right villain it becomes a E tier. But if the villain gets the right environment for them, the scenario can become B tier. C tier best reflects the swings the scenario can give you, which cant be said with some other villains teams like sinister six or wrecking crew (btw wrecking is not E tier....maybe D).

    • @marvelchampionsxp
      @marvelchampionsxp  7 месяцев назад

      Yeah I think that’s EXACTLY what happened to me the first few times with mansion attack. I was like, “what is everyone talking about?!?”
      Than I went back to it and was like, “WHEN THE HELL DID THOS HAPPEN?!?”. Honestly, (I might have said it in the video), I might have ranked them slight a tier higher due to my recent PTSD from them lol.
      I know Wrecking Crew is like a “cult classic” but I only ever found them difficult the first time. Everything after that was really really easy. I WILL give them another go before the next video so I can at least add in more of a recency bias for them.

      @marvelchampionsxp  7 месяцев назад +1

      Thanks!
      Yeah, on any day of the week any villain can give a significant problem. Theres just too many variables. I can see how protection can work against him because it’ll keep you in hero form as long as possible.

  • @sagibear2506
    @sagibear2506 7 месяцев назад +1

    Good video (as always). I just noticed, looking back at the villains i really like and would play over and over again. There's only 1 final stage villain (Red Skull). A lot of the villains i like playing against tend to be stage 1 and stage 2 villains. Is that the same for you (and anyone else)?

    • @marvelchampionsxp
      @marvelchampionsxp  7 месяцев назад

      You know, I never thought about it that way. I don’t LOVE playing Red Skull, but I agree that out of all the “final stage” villains, he’s the one that is challenging and truly “fair”.Yeah, I think you’re right. That majority are stage 1 and 2. I REALLY like Klaw, and I know he’s technically stage 2, but since there are only 3 villains he’s sort of like 3.5, and I also like Venom.
      That’s an EXTREMELY good observation!

  • @mattjenkinscomic
    @mattjenkinscomic 7 месяцев назад +2

    Hate Loki too! Nothing fun going on in that scenario. Shouldn’t have given him the gauntlet. Wow, Sinister 6 is easy but not THAT easy imo at least in 2 handed games. My hot take would be putting Mojo up there with the hardest villains. Find that cat dumb hard (pause).

  • @mitch-TO
    @mitch-TO 7 месяцев назад +2

    Ronan isn’t actually that hard anymore. The current card pool has lots of options for him. He was absolutely brutal when released, though.

  • @mella4376
    @mella4376 7 месяцев назад +2

    I think the most controversial takes here are tower defense being so high and sinister six being in the lowest tier. I also think Mr. Sinister is too low, he should be around Stryfe/Juggernaut level in my opinion, especially looking at the rest of C tier. I suspect the Apocalypses will slide down to B tier in time, but I haven't played the new box enough to make strong claims. Besides, as you say, with so many variables in heroes/villains/sets/decks/player count/variance and only so much time to play, it's hard to feel confident about tier lists, but they are fun.

    • @marvelchampionsxp
      @marvelchampionsxp  7 месяцев назад

      Yeah, no I totally get that and don’t disagree about your thoughts on literally everything you said. I really need some more time with Mr. Sinister and I need to go back to some of the older villains. I also really didn’t feel great about where Apoc landed, and I was just playing it more safe then sorry, but during this initial test, I really do think he’ll drop down one tier.
      Tier lists are dumb. And as you said, this game has literally an infinite amount of variables that make them truly pointless. Again, just like you said, they are fun as hell lol. What I really like is the discussion points they bring up

Not even having storage for them, but actually deckbuilding with them? If im done with university, im definetly going to do a solo project to make this game digital.

      Working on storage for any CCG/LCG is time consuming and unfortunately necessary. Recommend using marvelcdb for building decks online then you can build what you want when it is game time. Also have access to a ton of great decks others have built.
