The breaking point for me was not Glenn’s death, not season 11 of The Walking Dead, surprisingly not season 8 of Fear the Walking Dead and surprisingly not The Ones Who Live failed potential, but stuff like “Negan and Maggie hookup” “Oh, this is the best walking dead ever” (Norman referring to the season finale of season 2 of TWD DD being the best content) And also just the cringey writing lately that they all seem to be doing and copying from each other, honestly might be my breaking point for this franchise. They seriously do not know how to end this properly or AT least continue properly.. Also I wish they would address the Violet and Primrose team situation from the World Beyond finale (although I hated that show) Another complaint I would like to add is how bad the writing is nowadays, honestly Daryl Dixon and Dead City season 1 was pretty decent, the first 2 episodes of The Ones Who Live and Episode 5 was really good, but everything else in this entire franchise just feels worthless now. And don’t even get me started on how the writing makes the characters seem super modern although the shows story showed the world went through an apocalypse starting in 2010, like wtf are they trying to do?! 😂 Also it makes no sense for Carol to be having hallucinations, I don’t understand why they give characters hallucinations when it doesn’t even make any sense or is even realistic for that matter.

I’m hoping the Sophia scene is something else because this will be so cringe, embarrassing and bad for the TWD franchise that has been dead. People making fun of TWOL for its love power is bad but the show will become so memed rather than be liked. I genuinely am scared now as this slowing with Negan and Maggie love may destroy everything that has been set up.
Walking dead franchise died ages ago, general audience didn't watch first season and they're certainly not going to watch this one, TOWL is the networks money maker so it's good people are talking about it
I don't know why they are making 4 seasons or even more ... But there is nothing new it's literally the same story ( fighting a bad person and win ) so they're trying to do anything to make people excited but eventually they fail
Well, I'm a postproducer (film editor) so I can tell you that looks either fan made or a testing shot. The color itself is not adjusted or graded. This seems like a testing video for the CGI, make up and future shooting of the real footage.
I was hoping we'd see an adult Sofia and her conversation with Carol. But I think it makes sense to show it like this. They want to show the series so that new viewers can watch it without knowing the main show. The scene with the grown-up Sofia would be more relevant in the main show, as a continuation of the story. Here they show the backstory of Carol's character, once she lost her daughter.
I told people that first episode was underwhelming and some people were saying it's not true and that episode was good 🤣🤣 Carol can't carry an episode and Daryl can't carry a show is all I have to say

There's an obscure French zombie movie from 1978 called Grapes OF Death which reminds me of this show, with some of the locations and shots.
