A great place where I spent my teen time. It brings back all the good memories when those Wellington Col boys were walking around in their uniform, carrying a sports bag like my school days 15 years ago. Hella windy but such a lovely city I wanna visit again sometime!
I remember going to wellington 2009...back then the foot paths had a while line down the middle with arrows indicating the direction of travel...for the most part people followed the rule to "keep left"...made getting around a lot quicker...good to see the folks are still doing that despite the relaying of the paths!!.😎🇳🇿

I was there when Manners which used to be a park just like Cuba was converted into a street to cut the travel time within the heart of the city. I left in 2016 after eight years of working at an aged care facility in Newtown.
I was at Victoria U in 1970 n my my hubby was there fm 1965 to 1970. Great memories .Went back 7 times with our children and friends....n travelled to both N and S lsland at each visit.
My hometown. I miss it so much I still remember walking around manners mall when I was a kid and I use to hang out at the old lunar park arcade place. Also there was a old timezone there and right across was maccas and KFC and I think there was a Dicksmith store there as well. And that was before we had the road going right through the middle. Thanks for uploading this. Seeing this video makes me miss home

Lived there for five years in the early 2000s. Not a city person but often found myself just wondering the streets for the views. Regularly in my thoughts. No place like it.
This is not wellington if it was there would line every where with the bus stuck with the line and the bus be going everywhere couse the bus has a line on and the line will be every where

I was born in Wellington, re-located to Hamilton a few years later. I miss it so much.

I used to shop at Manners Street for shoes , clothes and sheep rugs in 1970 when I was a student at Victiris Uni of Wgton .

I was lucky enough to live there in the 70's /80's. Miss the place especially now. Back then they had electrified Buses with overhead cables.

Now back in the UK. My family was one of the "ten pound poms" in 72. Was taken back to the UK in 83, love to go back.
