Just got off magic 7.14.2024. One of the best I have been on. Everything was great The food was about 7 out of 10. This was my 5th cruise with carnival. It was a party every night for all ages. It wasn't too much. Had something to do everyday

How long has it been since you sailed on the magic? We sail on it in 4 more days. We have sailed on the Carnival Breeze twice before which is the Magics sister ship. Now We sailed on the Carnival sunshine 3 different times and i notice the shower floods in some of their showers also but no biggy really. Yeah alot of these older ships definitely need some repairs.
We were just on in November. Overall we had a great cruise. We also have never stayed in a lower deck so that could have been a contributing factor as to why the shower backed up. Hope that helps! Thanks for watching!
We see Carnival as a floating bar with a olace to sleep.. in a few weeks will be our fifth Cruise in the past two years on Carnival and we see exactly why it's so cheap to cruise on them.. we call it lipstick on a pig
@@sueheidymartinez5923 it was very fun... Everything was enjoyable. I do agree that the pools are very small but I didn't go in them because they were too salty. The water Burns immediately in your eyes. Water slides were very fun though. Dinner was great and activities on the boat were well planned and organized

However I am confused with your closing summary - if you like Carnival and know that Carnival has tons of ships and offerings why would you want to sail with the Carnival Magic despite all the serious cons you mentioned? Why would anyone want to pay even a single dollar to be treated to some of the cons you mentioned. MAKES NO SENSE AT ALL UNLESS SOMEONE IS PAYING YOU OR YOU HAVE SOME HIDDEN INCENTIVE!
No one is paying us. Despite the cons, we still had a good trip and made the best of our situation. We would definitely prefer to sail on the Magic again after it’s had a refresh. We have no hidden incentive. Thanks for the inquiry

@@sueheidymartinez5923 Oh.. The Magic is a decent ship. Easy to get around from all decks. Staff always friendly and helpful. That's on any ship ive sailed.

We had a blast on our 10 day on the Magic back in June ‘23 from Norfolk.

We're booked on the Magic in May. This will be my second time. We last cruised on her in 2018. We loved her. I hope they get things put back together.

We go on Magic again in July. At least our expectations are set now! Great review!

That’s strange about the maintenance issues. We were just on The Elation, a MUCH older ship, and it was very well main. 🤷🏻♂️
