Have you tried any of the Irons mentioned, love to know your thoughts?

I had a set of Epics and have gone to g400 with graphite shafts. I love the lighter set up.

M4s look pretty good. Sticking with my WilsonStaff D300s. Super chunky but easily the most forgiving irons I've ever had.

I have the AP1’s in my bag and couldn’t be happier. The shafts are a bit out of left field; Nippon Zelos 7, an ultralight steel shaft...a senior type shaft. They suit my age...old, and my strength...not much! Seriously though, that club head with that shaft is a winner for me. Fitted by TXG here in Canada.

I just got a few weeks ago the Titleist AP1 2018, they are awesome and extremely forgiving for 15-25 handicappers. I highly recommended, you won’t regret it.

Looking to get a new set of irons next season. On a budget so it'll be a few years old. All the reviews I've seen, the TM M4 is on top or near the top.

Having just bought a new strong hybrid I was amazed at how consistent they were. Many players of SIG irons might do best to carry 4 wedges, irons 6-PW only, 2 hybrids, 2 fairway woods and driver

I have been saying it for a while Justin, these clubs help and not hinder a lot of golfers

I just put an M4 4 iron in the bag, its running for miles on the firm fairways at the moment.

I am a bit late on this one but sticker shock is really an issue these days. I bought a full set of Ping G's a couple of years back and that took a lot of heart searching. The 700 is a magnificent beast but the cost is stratospheric.

I just added the g400 with graphite shafts. I went to a reg flex and it help me get the spin numbers up. I am down to a 6 handicap on the board now.

Great videos..quick question. I have recently messed my back and think I need to go to the easier swing type of clubs.. I’m a 41 year old but am temping to try a graphite light shaft to help gain some of my distance loss. Any thoughts?

What shafts options did you try

This shyt is such a gimmick, these manufacturers come out with something every few month. It's like buying a car use it once and its devalued in the same manner. I'm so disappointed, disinterested, disillusioned with golf club manufacturers. Costs are prohibitive, you have to pay to be fitted, (that should be included with the purchase) then everyone wonders why golf is declining with new players. 600- 700$ for a iron set , 500$ driver fairway woods 200- 300$ , then in a few months they come up with a new package for the same clubs. Yeah I know I'm venting, but it seems that way to me. Anyone else out there who feels the same?

I agree with that, especially the drivers, it’s best to wait to the following year or two and buy one when the price goes down

Great video andy ... Wondering if the standard rogue might have came higher on the list if it was included .. Some very mixed reviews re the rogue x. .. Very much a niche market and quite low launching from what I've read .. That's my tuppence worth anyway .. Keep up the great work 👍

Put the Ping G700’s in the bag when they first came out and based on the review you did on them...came off the TaylorMade M2’s...never had Ping Irons before was always a TaylorMade loyalist...these irons are unbelievably good...best irons I ever played and for sure have contributed to my handicap coming consistently down for the Tagers wall...which is down again from 11.1 to 10.9...yes they are a bit pricey but well worth it in my opinion...cheers from very hot Tampa, Florida USA ...ANDY...you are my favorite youtuber...you are a straight shooter and I trust your reviews because you’re an average golfer like me...keep up the good work!

I would never buy something new from the year in that catgerories.....theres really no diferrence in performance in at least the last 5 years....i would go 2014 models for more than half of the price brand new........just my 2 cents

    • @karlfinlay3090

@ allo cromeau .. Prob with that is that you can't get fitted for that old an iron anymore as far as I'm aware ... Only get them second hand and a proper fitting is essential these days if you want the most out of your clubs ...

I played golf for the last 10 years and never got fitted.....i know i have a quick tempo so i need extra stiff in my woods ..i tried stiff before and dispersion was all over the place......and my iron swing is way slower so thats why i got stiff.......i fitted myself with my knowledge and i hit a 8 iron 155 and Gw 110 ,Pw 125, 9 iron 140....so my gap is even.......

A real club fitter, someone in the business of fitting clubs, will work with any set of clubs no matter how old they are. I work with a local fitter and he's done all sorts of things with several different sets of clubs for me and I've never bought a club off of him.
