Hi everyone, it’s me!! I’m going to be uploading my RUclips videos at 5pm BST/GMT moving forward! There will still be videos every Tuesday & Friday, just at 5pm ☺ Thanks so much for your support over the years, it really means a lot!! Alanna x
It is a point of interest. Like a game to play. The partner. What do we know. Finally defined as a he. Reflected in sunglasses once. Dark short hair Roughly normal height Apparently rather thin ( as seen in the sunglasses reflections ) Caucasian from the appearance of the hand. No vocal or other noises detected yet. Little else is known. Probability is high he is some clandestine government employee who needs to remain anonymous.
Hi Alanna, I think your partner was having a bit of a laugh with this one. All spicy things together followed by sweet things but chicken followed by chocolate then horse radish yuk, you deserve a medal Cheers
6:30 there is nothing British about Werther's except that they are sold here. Werther's are 100% German, made by a German company and named after a German town. Even the original adverts were dubbed German ones.
There is an old English remedy of mustard powder and hot water to steam out the sinuses when they have a cold. Oh and the pickle goes with the pork pie brilliantly.
Just as a general comment , what I really like about your YT channel, apart from the great , entertaining content , is the fact you genuinely appreciate your viewers. You always reply to comment , which not all people do. You are a very polite young lady , obviously brought up with good manners and values. Kudos to your parents for bringing you up that way ! 🙏👍
My aunt did this as a party game at my birthday party when I was little. About half of my friends had to go home early because they were sick! It wasn't her best idea!
Well done the Butler for picking some great taste test items for you though I do feel he may have a slightly evil streak lurking inside him somewhere. Now you will have to excuse me as I am off to lick my garden lawn to see if it tastes like ginger beer. 😝😝🏡🤣🤣🤣
@@AdventuresAndNaps You should ask Tesco's for sponsorship, on the strength of your video I bought some of their scotch eggs with a runny yolk this morning.
Horse radish! That was funny. In small doses it's very nice. It's like wasabi, but not as fancy. When you go for walk you'll see lots of it growing all over the place. Dig up a root and try some fresh foraged horse radish. They also sell big roots of it at Macknade.
I really want pork pies, scotch eggs & flumps now lol... That was great Alanna, your test tastes are always so funny 😂 And well done to the Butler, those were great choices!
Expat Brit here. I used to buy Grosvenor pies - like Melton Mowbray but with an egg in the middle as well. I miss those and Scotch eggs - hard/impossible to find in Canada!
Branston P, perfect to go with your pork pie. Though I have to say, and I've eaten a lot of food, I've never heard anyone describe the taste of any foodstuffs as 'brown' before. Maybe a vid on your favourite 'brown' foods is in order 🙂
Hi Alana. I just watched a couple of your vids regarding rude and offensive comments that you receive. I'm so glad that you can handle it. You are a treasure.
I must congratulate you on your servant training, helpful when required, silent at all other times. I'd try to hang to him, he's likely to get approached by the local manor. If you liked horseradish, do try fried beef steak with fried onions and then use the horseradish as a spread on a fresh bread roll.
'Lawn Lickers' of the world, unite! :) Seriously entertaining and hilarious as ever, Alanna. :) I had the Tesco Finest Bakewell tarts a few weeks ago. They had the impossible to resist 'yellow label of bargain-ness' on them so were only a pound. They are seriously delicious. Such a creamy taste. Full price they are £1.90 for 2 though, so I'll just have to wait for more yellow labels. :)
The hand (of Mr Alanna?) is a welcome guest star on this very fun little exercise. You didn't do at all badly, and it's clear which British items have worked their way onto your palate - and we your British viewers approve of your taste! Maybe in future you might do one of *those* videos blindfolded...?!
Blind taste test 😃 now that sounds fun just gotta get this pesky thing called work done then head home and whack it on , looking forward to this one very much 🙂
This was fun Saturday morning breakfast watching 😄 I’m British but I don’t think I’ve ever tried nougat or dandelion & burdock (though I know the latter wasn’t in the video). Maybe I’ll go buy some today 😂 I love a good ginger beer though!
Dandelion and burdock was my favourite as a child, but only the one made by a particular company. I love ginger beer, my favourite brand is Old Jamaica.
Now, what you need to do is rescue the Pork Pie and the remains of the Scotch Egg, add a little bit of Branston and bob's your uncle!! That was a lot of fun to watch and hopefully for you to try - good work by the Butler too!
Hi Alanna! Hope you are well. I am a South African and I have been subscribed to your channel for a while now. I still live in South Africa, but have visited England numerous times to visit my daughter and her family who are living in west Sussex. I luvvvveeeee England. Lol. Just a friendly request and perhaps an idea for a video in time to come. Please can you get to a South African shop close to you and try some of our favorite snacks and candy? I would love you to try Biltong (dried out meat), Dry wors (dry sausage), Ouma Rusks, Mrs Balls Chutney, Steri Stumpies (flavored milk drink) . And then of course we also have Cadbury and Nesle Chocolates but it tastes different. You have to try the Crunchie, TV Bar and Luch Bar, and Kit Kat.We also have Beacon. And some of our crisps and cool drinks. Our Fanta cooldrink definitely tastes different, Especially the Cream Soda. Please please please can you do that?
Absolutely loved this taste test. You did quite well. You definitely love you scotch eggs and pork pies and how can we forget your bake well tart. Your cooking skills are quite good if we base it on your bake well tart which you prepared in another video☺️
Hi Alanna, He did a really good job in choosing the different things to try. You know the Branston pickle you tried? Put it with the. Melton Mowbray pork pie or the Scotch egg, It's lovely, add the pickel onion and some fresh salad and coleslaw with a tomato, some chedder cheese, and you have a nice sommer Tea with some cake or icecream to follow.
Excellent. At first with the use of the tongs it appeared your partner was handing you something radioactive or was part robot! My take away from this is that aside from the bakewell tart (which I hate), you have a great kitchen for a snack raid! In fact, thinking on it, you've just taken us through an ideal picnic hamper contents :D
@@AdventuresAndNaps Always do! Though I'm still curious if you use the coffee pot you got when your mum visited or are you using instant like most of us? lol
Thanks to you both, enjoyed that. Think the Butler played it quite safe - I'd have put half a pickled onion into the scotch egg yolk as a 'surprise'. 😈😂 Good & interesting food selection choices. 🙏
Nougat is one of my favourites. I suppose it's a childhood thing. Nougat and Fry's Turkish Delight are always worth buying because my wife doesn't like either so I don't have to hide them.

Great choices by the Butler. I love pickled onions but HATE horse radish. And straight in on the Werthers, priceless! He certainly knows your likes.

Hi, you should visit Chapel down winery in Kent & taste test their wines, they also have a good restaurant attached.

You should try a jacket potato (with butter) with Heinz Baked Beans and Coronation Chicken - delicious!!!
