The dark and gritty Diablo 4 we were promised
Diablo looks muddy compared to these graphics
I do actually prefer graphics but poe2 looks good
I think I maybe get what you're getting at, but I have to say that I think Diablo nails the graphical style. From what I've seen of POE 2 it does look really good and maybe arguably like more 'grounded,' but overall so far I think it's going to be tough to beat Diablo in that regard.
Graphics of d4 ..nice...and sometimes too nice as you can not see what killed you....i prefer practical graphics as nicer)))
@@jaroslavsvaton9476 if you have an Nvidia GPU (might be similar on AMD, just not sure) you can adjust the luminance or something (forgetting the exact setting) and it makes seeing the various effects much easier. Fair point though.
@@Matt-gf4gd true thx, i worked on it...but i see that as error on game design...
In d4 if you play necro with shadow explosion and minions...dont want count times i died just from many mecha which are hard to see...at start it was even worse...whole party can't see anything is anoying.
In poe i dont have one time this problem over 7? Season i played.

Imagine if there’s an elite mob that can summon mobs, capture its soul and resummon and it summons its own minions too…..MY….GOD! Definitely playing witch at release

Wait if you get a spectre like that and hoard them then it'll be like having mini necromancer spectres that have their own minions. You can multiply minion count. But it'd only be useful if they're actually stronger than having a single minion instead.
Perfect part in poe2 is that minions resummon after dead...in poe if specter died you must traveled bact to specific location to bring her back))))
@@jaroslavsvaton9476 Desecrate has worked to 'store' recently used spectres, meaning they can be brought back anywhere - even in the middle of bossfights or your hideout. I do this between maps or delve runs.
In the first 60 seconds of this video a level 2 witch already has more depth than a level 100 Necro in D4🤣
looks really good to me tried to get into poe 1 but couldnt but definately going to try 2
I loved summoner in Poe(my account was hacked and lost ) there was nice combo with elemental equilibrium where you attached element (for example fire)on minions and if they hit enemy and have +25% res to fire but -50% to others...stackable...3 elements?)))
Can wait for poe2...in poe, last epoch and hope again in poe2 is fun feeling of commander of army as summoner...just d4 is still not on this level
If i can't skip campaign after playing it once, as in d4, I won't bother to apply.
For all is known, that won't be possible.
The game will have random generator areas and random generator world, meaning that every campaign will be different. Sure, same story, same bosses, but different layouts every time. Pretty much like Remnant 2.
I've played tens of thousands of hours in PoE, rarely have I got bored, all the while replaying campaign for each character. Maybe 2-5% of your characters lifetime is spent on the 'tutorial' campaign once experienced at it.
@@HolographicThoughts I tried it once to around lvl40 got to solaris temple with dead ends all over the place, this was in the campaign. Took me ages to get thru' that crap, never again.
@@occy127 I hear ya. I encountered this as well in my early days. Not quite making it is motivation for some to try again, and I completely understand when that turns others away.
The fact that the boss still kept their skills is crazy good

@@P4wnyhof the spectre build is a famous bd in poe1. ggg nerf lots of spectre couple times in past years
GGG explain that you can get specter of every creature except Unique monster like Boss
@@P4wnyhof And the only limit to your army is the amount of Spirit you have. Spec as much as possible on that and you get a HUGE army of whatever you want to build :D any non unique monster in the game can be a minion !
What i like the most about this is the spectres are "captured" into the skill gem, turning them basically into a pokeball, you can literally try and catch them all

As a summoner player, this is hitting my sweet spot. I love that movement is more deliberate and purposeful. Crafting your army composition and picking an "elite" that you can command directly will make it feel the way you want.

D4 should really take a “Necromancy For Dummies” class from PoE2 because this is freaking incredible! Funny thing it’s not even classified as a Necromancer class 😂

To be fair, the Witch is just the starting class, and in PoE 1, it can become a Necromancer through ascendancy (subclass). I would be surprised if the Witch's ascendancy classes didn't include something as iconic as Necromancer.
Necro-Witch minion achetype is just not for me, I never even consider playing..im a melee bix ax wielding combater type.... Buttttt thissss I will definitely play i cant waitttt... ofcourse after i play my Druid werewolf form.... POGGG GGG
I just can't play melee types in ARPGs - Something simply does not work in my mind :D

Agreed. The AI is bad. The mages just hover and spin around. Probably be another year before they work out the bugs
In his interview with GhazzyTV and DM, Jonathan mentioned that normally summoner ends up with 30-40 minions in end game but if you boost your spirit etc. then there basically isn't limit to how many minions you have. Even in PoE1 you can play zoomancer which is basicly s**t loads of minions.
More ain't always better :D Prefer fewer quality minions to play around with - But it is good that you have the option to go completely of the rails
@@P4wnyhof The zoomancer melts everything in PoE. It's just insane and awesome. Though the visual clarity, well... There is non :D. Cannot wait to see what PoE2 brings out:)
i imagine you might not use all your spirits for minions later but also auras to buff them. We already know that auras will use spirit as well.
@@P4wnyhof I agree completely. One of the challenges with any of these games is visibility. Too many minions can make it very hard to see what is happening on the screen. For me I prefer to have in the range of 10-15 minions with solid control and cool abilities
This makes me want to play this now. Torn between this and Diablo will be challenging.
Looks AMAZING! I myself will continue to play D4 and play PoE2. PoE2 looks like it has WAY more options, control and depth, but that also makes it more complicated to build out and play. So D4, will fill the roll of simple fun and PoE2 will be for more challenging and intricate play. LE will also stay in the mix for even more variety. Lets also not forget the Grim Dawn expansion and the upcoming Titan Quest 2. I don't think there has ever been a better time for Diablo ARPGs!
Summon spectre was awesome in poe.
I think I will give PoE 2 a go, it looks like a great ARPG, however D4 I am heavily invested in so I will continue to play it as well, and currently after Season 4 changes, I am loving D4 a lot now better than pre season (launch). Never gave up hope for D4, but will admit at times they had me worried, especially with Season 1.
TLDR, will be playing both!
Just remeber that PoE has much steeper learning curve than D4 so don't give up :) I know from experience that it will feel overwhelming but take your time and stay sane exile.

@@benjiskittsno. Closed beta. Access key can be bought by supporter pack which will release later. Probably 5 to 10 dollars. Only 500 dollar or greater supporters already have guaranteed access including top hardcore poe 1 players.
Closed beta, they will announce when you can sign up. They will send out invites weekly. They will probably also sell beta supporter packs for 20-40$ that give access. Beta will last at least 6 months. There will probably be a lot of balance changes during beta and if they do major changes they will do wipes if they have to.
