That NG army has a lot of good bits. It's if you reach the squishy bits before they've hurt you. I was lucky in some ways against Jonny at Cardiff Game 1. Slugtongue worked his magic on the random movers and his fanatics never went further than 4 iirc. Great game tho
@@EdgytheHedgy They're plastic, and the models as a whole are hollow. Which kit the clouds are from I've no idea - the models are too old to have been 3D-printed.

There are stuff I like about 8th Ed. but also.. things i don´t. 6th Ed is more like classic WHFB.. many love 4th/5Th Ed but i never played those, though i was active in the hobby (40k). i only joined during 6th Ed - so i like that more. It was the most balanced to me, though the power creep was as always, present.. You can abuse 6th Ed too. But i can have fun in any GW game if I play with decent people who don´t go overboard and be dicks. ;) So I guess I would be able to enjoy 8th Ed maybe as much as well.. but by the time I had a look at WHFB again (I quit when 7th Ed popped in kidna). The arseholes had taken over.. So that left a bit of a bad taste too. Undeserved perhaps..

Cracking event. We both had a few tough match-ups but 5 great games so can't complain!

It´s not 6th Ed - best Ed. But still fun as it is Goblins..
