I know I need a light that is closer to the sprouts. I don't have one. So i am using what I have. I'm going to purchase lights for my shelves that are in the garage for the seedlings

Wow Helen….you got way more snow than we did in Michigan. I do believe,however, that it is much colder here with wind chilly in the negatives.
Oh its much colder there. It will be 19 tonight but feels like 8° 😊

Can’t believe that you all are getting this much snow. Helen, you might want to maybe sit your seedlings about 2-4 inches from the grow light to prevent them from stretching. This is what worked for me. Happy growing ❤

I’m in Austin / Round Rock, OMG you guys got a lot! We didn’t get nearly as much, but we got enough sheesh! Tfs
I'm in north Florida, so of course we don't have snow YET! I try to let nature take care of nature. I have young citrus, so i cover them .Anything in pots I will move inside, but IF it survives, that makes it stronger for future bad weather. And believe me, this is just the beginning.

You know we all were scared about this snow storm on Texas. We didn't get it this time around in Dallas/Ft. Worth as we just got the cold and win. Stay safe

Your seedlings are leggy because they don't have enough light. If possible, get a grow light for them.
