Thanks for showing how the bolt/nut setup makes the seal expand, no one else on RUclips shows this, and it is important to know when the old element wont come out, even with the nut a bit loose.
I know right? I spent at least 20 minutes trying to get the bastard on and then I decided to not let my ego get in the way and I looked this video up and had an epiphany moment. Damn near about cried after getting in on.
Took me 1-2h with knowing it. Still don't understand why it didn't work. Seems the rubber expanded inside and got stiff. Had to take a screwdriver and force the rubber out.
Wish I saw this as I changed my heater without sealing it properly and it was leaking! Haha will let it dry overnight and try sealing again tomorrow 🙏 very helpful
Thanks for showing. Just when i already ordered my heater, I was unable to pull out the heater. The rubber padding surrounding the heater got sealed or stuck inside. The front plate already out but the rubber sealed it so well that i unable to pull out. Is there something I missed?
I tried again, this time i managed to pull it out. After knocking the bolt right inside and it still cannot come out, I decided to use towels for better grip and pull it out. Thanks alot for the video, it has been inspirational.😊
@k-nemo pytam, bo mam trudny dostęp do samej grzałki, a nic nie wskazuję na zużycie lecz nie jestem w stanie sprawdzić czy grzeje. Nie mam kamery termowizyjnej w piecu akumulacyjnym.
Thanks for making this helpful video. With how much Haier expect to charge, I am keen to see if I can sort it out myself. May I ask what is it that you are doing with the Multimeter?
I check the resistance between the heater body and the pins to which voltage is supplied. The insulation resistance in the heater is too low. This caused the fuse to cut off the power to the washing machine.
@@k-nemo hey, i need help with my replacement, I have the same replacement part which has the same model number but once I've installed it it leaks! the seal and everything is fine though.
Surprised by all that build up - I recently changed the original heating element in a 25 year old machine and everything looked brand new - West Cornwall must have good washing machine water.
I just want to say how incredibly helpful this was and how much I appreciate the effort you went to explain the key points that no one else did and you did it without words. Bravo. I only wish I watched it before messing it up with silicone to make the seal lol!! Should I rip it out and go again or do you think it's ok after tightening the bolt. I'll probably give it a test and see :)

Epiphany moment too right here. Those hits on that bolt...

Here’s one more: thank you for showing that, saved me a lot of frustration!

Bardzo Ci dziękuję. Dzięki Tobie udało mi się naprawić pralkę electrolux ! :) U mnie strzelał - nie domykał się zamek w blokadzie drzwi od pralki.

After loosening the nut and pushing the bolt in, the heater should come out.

Good explanation thank you sir ....have a nice day
Thanks for watching.
Another question: is ot necessary to remove the belt connecting the motor and the drum?
In my washing machine, the belt interferes with the removal of the heater.
Jeżeli grzałka posiada prawidłowe wskazania ohm, pobiera prąd to może mimo to być zużyta?

Can we do it without a multimeter? Don't have one or know how to use....
What size socket was that
I don't remember. Sorry. I chose the one that fit from the set.
Just used it - 10
Great video. I’ll try this 😊
Good luck!
