India should start using UPI as a payment system in trade with the countries especially in south asia. If India promotes its UPI system in other countries, It will be good for India in future. Recently Nepal has become the first country in the world to adopt UPI system in its Country. So, the process has been started to internationalise the UPI payment system.

UPI is game changer but everything will depends on currency conversion rates not on technology, I never seen anyone using bank to bank transfer from here to India because it is very costly so we use apps like remitly, wire, wise which are usually free or charge as little as £2 per transaction but Indian banks charge 3.5% on currency conversion which will definitely become the reason of UPI failure. If India really wants to become master of payments in world than they have to give real time currency conversion rates and zero or not more than 0.5% transfer fees. I want India become number one in payment system. Jai Hind🙏

I still remember parliamentary debate just few years ago when opposition criticize digital economy saying indian are illiterate how will you do this? brother, Rupay and UPI program was launched in 2012 under the leadership of Manmohan Singh. It took four years for RBI to develop it. The entire credit goes to Manmohan Singh and RBI. Rahi baat opposition ki.... They have to question government. What opposition said is true. Indians are mostly illiterate and it's tough to implement. And raising that question is a proof that opposition cares for the country. Kudos to Manmohan Singh govt to start UPI and Rupay project development. And thanks to Modi govt to implement it well.

Countries are selling their time,labour, energy, resources, products for illegitimate printed piece of paper which is american dollar. This is organized exploitation and massive amount of wealth is drained from other countries to america. This is neo colonialism.
Russia, India and other friendly countries should boycott american dollar and start trade in local currencies, barter system, gold. This way sanctions will be useless, value of dollar will decrease, value of other currencies such as Rupees, Ruble will increase.
At the end of ukraine war hagemony of western countries will also be ended,also status of american dollar as world currency will also be ended.

All the West Asian Countries/GCC must be added in UPI after negotiation because a major share of Remittance comes from here. Successful trial of UPI in West Asia would be a great victory for UPI's future

We should focus on adding medium size economies and a few major size economies this year and increase the size of UPI accepting countries by 30 atleast. After that we can easily expand that because we can show how many countries are using it. In my view creat a bigger pool so that you can claim the entire pool.

Actually the reason we have higher Remittances than China as by statistics, 80% of the chinese studying abroad return to work in their Motherland.
This may reduce Remittances, but in the long term it is very helpful.

As an NRI, I send about a thousand Dollars (79,000 INR) a month back home to extended family. It feels good to help and strengthen India's economy. But this is our dharma, and our duty. I hope one day Indians can find enough prosperity to not look to the outside world for opportunities. Sadly, there's just too many people and most are uneducated to change anything.
