There was a time where Volkan Oezdemir was really scary and KO'ing people left and right. It was a bit of a short window but there was a second where he looked like he could be a top challenger. It's crazy the trajectories these careers of these men and women can take. Sad sometimes. I wish him all the best in his upcoming fight and hope he's able to capture that type of energy again. They say history repeats itself, let us see what the fates have decided with Chimaev....
