5:35 Vera Wong would be a hilarious show! One of my favorite reads of the year. It opened me up to the amateur sleuth genre and the author! Absolutely will be looking for more like it.
My first book of 2024 is going to be long too. Wizard of the Crow is 700+ pages 😩 I’m a library girl but I do own a few and they are organized by types of book and thrown in a drawer. So your color coded shelves are a treat to see.
I love when people do it by color! Personally, I go by size. I get books of all different shapes and sizes and feel that big books belong together as do little books and medium books with their respective sizes 😊 Speaking of shorter books... The one I wrote is only 256 pages... But no pressure!
@@DezmondZ It's called The Glass Eye (by Sarah Schwartz). It's free for Kindle Unlimited if you have it. The front cover is just the words that I drew. 😊
I have a 5-shelf bookshelf sitting around in a box too. It was supposed to be up and filled by now, but so far I just slide the box in front of the door occasionally to keep the little dog out of my room. :)Maybe that's a project to tackle this weekend, finally, so I can move on to focusing on making my January TBR without the guilt every time I see that box.
The shelves look so good! Unfortunately, I don't know my books by color, but by genre, so I do genre first and then keep like colors together within that genre. I could never do all my books by author. There are authors I have many of their books so they are kept together.
Your bookshelves look great. I enjoy your channel very much! I noticed you mix in your unread books with ones you have already read. How do you keep track of your TBR books? I have 2 bookshelves that I keep all my TBR books separate from ones I already read. I can’t mix them together because I might forget about one I haven’t read. 😊
About once a month I’ll stare at the shelves to see what’s what. Like 85% of them have already been read so it’s pretty easy for me to tell which ones haven’t. (But I hardly ever stick to my TBR lol)
I've been wanting to do that contact paper hack. The orange looks great--did it take long? I can't even count the number of times I've gone looking for a book by color!
It's the "Well dressed & well read" for me! I love your book collection. 😊
The world needs more singing BookTubers. 🎶
Soo true
“Who dis fa?” 😂 Your commentary is gold. Absolutely hilarious lol
I do colour within genres, looks neater and makes it easier to search 👍🏼
You need to do a book unhaul. It’ll free up so much space on your shelf. Can’t wait to watch your backlog
Lmao you discussing buying multiple copies of homegoing was hilarious 😂

so happy I found you! it’s refreshing seeing booktubers who keep it real & have personalityyyy 🧡😂
I am ADD. Doing bookshelves by color will drive me CRAZY. You are a good one. More power to you.❤❤❤❤
Love your shelves and love your book collection ❤ we have similar tastes in books ☺️
honestly same. i may not arrange my shelf by color…but i do remember the color of the spine rather than the name of the author at times 😅
Love your humor and attitude!

I do mine by genre as well 😊
I love the look of rainbow shelves, yours look fantastic! I could never arrange mine that way because I could not tell you what color any book is.
Nice collection 👌
You are so funny i love it 🥰
I love how you organized your bookshelf
9:05 I mean 🤷🏽♀️ the cover is gorge! I’ve seen it everywhere but never stopped to read the description either 😅.
I think the shelves look really good !
I read Small Worlds and it is my #1 read of the year! So good! 😭❤️
This was fun 😂😂😂😂
I about fell out when I saw some paper backs! Your shelves look amazing tho! 😂

Come on orange paper!
Just subscribed to your channel. If there’s 5 books you would immediately recommend of all time favs? What would it be?
These are 5 that I talk about A LOT
- Razorblade Tears
- A Man Called Ove
- Don’t Cry For Me
- Black Cake
- How Not To Drown in a Glass of Water

Doesn’t take long at all. This time around it took me a little longer, but only because I was being lazy.
“I got 2,3 chapters in and I had to go.” “This book is 605 pages, Lord knows.” 😂 lol Great video!
You and I gonna duel over #1 SA Cosby fan! LOL!😅😊
😂😂
🔥🔥❤❤❤🙌🏽
