    • @300deebo
      @300deebo 5 лет назад +1

      Belmonte's entire game is off the charts and it changed the way the sport is played, but if it wasn't for Pete Weber and what he did in 2002 (watch "League of Ordinary Gentlemen"), there wouldn't be a PBA.
      Bottom line is that Pete's father, the great Dick Weber, put the PBA on the map, and Pete Weber saved the PBA.

    Anyone else mute these broadcasts that Rob Stone is on like I do? He says some really stupid things, this is not the WWE Rob.

      Maximus M rob stone is trying to make it funny and interesting instead of some of the other commentators who commentate bowling. I don’t like any other bowling commentary team as much as I like Rob Stone and Randy Pedersen.

    I can’t watch these games in Maine with all the drunk screaming fans. Part of what I love about pro bowling is the stillness & quietness, like golf.
    This feels like a different sport.

      Please can people stop saying this. Bowling isn't golf and it shouldn't be let it be it's own thing. If you want quietness watch 70's-90's telecast..

      NeggaMawile Stop saying my opinion? Who are you, the opinion police? If you like a bunch of people yelling & screaming while a bowler is throwing, more power to you.
      I don’t. It’s severely distracting and annoying.

      The guy looks ridiculous with his outfits and his hair and his antics, guess he feels he needs to stand out to feel relevant, since his bowling doesn't do it for him. Never liked the guy really.

    Watched the first minute of this and turned it off - I thought this was WWE wrestling or the scene of a drunken night club. How pathetic PBA bowling has become - totally pathetic.

      @@primetimebowler3485 All sports change - often that is good - but the PBA has become basically a drunk party scene not a game of concentration like it should be. Trophies are plastic garbage, blue oil should not even exist, coaching, rowdy fans, rap music during competition etc - all total decadence of once a great sport like the PGA. Pathetic.

      @@mr.aerial1885 Well the blue is for the people at home more than the players. Coaching I sorta agree since there the pro's but they can't see everything they do right. I mean this is sorta the only venue where people are loud because they love bowling, it's not like every venue does this. And for the music I can sorta get behind since you want them to settle down

      @@primetimebowler3485 I don't mind having fun with bowling - it is a game most people play and can interact with most people better than others but still it is a professional venue and should be taken more seriously like in the 70s and 80s. You can still have fun with the bowlers - that is what pro ams are made for. They also have other events which are fun and enjoying by all - but still it should not go this direction. As for coaching - I hate it totally. I know many are well seasoned bowlers themselves - Mack, Ballard, etc......but it looks terrible on the main bowler - like if they don't know nothing.

    "You walk almost a mile carrying that heavy weight" gtfoh Randy, a mile is 5280 Feet. The approach is 15 feet long, even if you used the entire approach, that's 352 approaches. Even if you're terrible at bowling and execute the maximum number of shots, that's 63. Do the math bruh.

    • @DeanMcCain
      @DeanMcCain 5 лет назад

      King James you ever heard of exaggeration? No? Ok let me explain. Exaggerating is when someone takes something small and makes it seem bigger than it actually is. For example, when Randy says you walk almost a mile he is exaggerating the actual distance. And besides, in between carrying balls to another lane, walking on the approach and depending on where you place you might be carrying the equipment around longer. So it will at least feel as if you have walked a mile, even if you didn’t actually walk a mile.
