In today’s blog, I am doing a weekly day by day Vlog for you. I will be doing Walmart halls for grocery and purchases of bedding and curtains for my bedroom. I will be doing Amazon halls for fall decor and pillows that I will be putting out for fall. I am doing a little dollar tree hall in where I buy a tray and some other things from Dollar tree. I am staining a little tray that I bought from Dollar tree doing some homemaking. Taking you to Walmart for a grocery pick up. Love your new colours!! Lol! We're very different in our shopping choices though! I LOVE thrifting! I don't buy a whole lot in the clothing area 2nd hand, but I do enjoy finding treasures for the house, yard and RV in the 2nd hand stores. I have found some of my favourite things 2nd hand. Even clothing pieces!
I agree 100% with you on the importance of being at home and raising your kids. Why have kids if you aren't going to raise them? I am so blessed that my husband had a job that earned enough that allowed me to do this. We didn't go on expensive holidays, or buy all the toys, but my kids got to know that I was always there for them and I chose to homeschool them. We are very close even though they now live all over the world! My 5 babies have all grown to be kind, caring, good people. I'm so proud of them all.
That is so wonderful that you had the privilege of being able to stay home for your children and homeschool them as well. I’ve never been a thrift store shopper. I’ve gone to some with friends that enjoyed it but I never walked out of them desiring to go back. I love how we are all different in our likes. It’s what makes us unique!

I'm the same as you......the thought of wearing secondhand clothes makes me cringe 😂. I think my 'phobia' stems back to my childhood when I had to wear hand me downsnfrom my older sister and other relatives. My father, due to strokes, was often off work, so I guess there wasn't the money to buy new clothes all the time.
Same on the cringe factor. My mom was a single mom with no help from my dad at all. I was allowed 3 new outfits a year at school time, and then “play” clothes. ( We had to wear dresses to school every day my entire school experience) Now kids dress like they’re spending the day in the dump to go to school. I didn’t get hand-me downs as I was almost seven years younger than my only sister and she was a lot shorter🤪
