I love how this guy is a millionaire and literally uses the most cost effective gear for his business. You don't need anything fancy to be successful in REP.
Great honest and real video about gear. I run a real estate media business and think this info is on point. You could start with something used and make Great media and eventually you will upgrade. Just know the upgrades have "nice to have" features but most likely won't make a game changing difference in what you do.. I would also warn to skip going with a theta V 360 camera like I did instead of the z1 to save money. The quality gap is pretty big. So i ended up buying the z1 and the theta v just gatherels dust.Don't Know about the Insta 1x2 mentioned in this video but I'd guess it's better than the theta v or they would have mentioned that instead. You don't always need the most expensive stuff so if the budget doesnt allow don't get too caught up in the latest and greatest. Great video!
I got an R7 instead of an R and I’m finding it hard to get good pictures of small spaces like bathrooms. Is that EF mount and EF lens cropping the image? Should I have got an RF lens instead?
I currenlty use the canon m50, great camera and I have a 11m lense on it, but its sometimes not as wide as I would like it to be, if I bought a full frame camera would the image be wider?
Mavic Air2 is legit!! I used to use the Mavic pro 2 but found I actually preffered the Mavic air 2 that was only supposed to be my back up drone. Air 2 is smaller, easier to use to get great footage imo. Plus if it crashes you cry less because it's way cheaper!!!
Hey Eli, I really just subscribed to your channel and I really love your content. I recently bought my Canon M50 mark 2 and I want to get some money. I know it doesnt work so fast but I saw your last video where you have your lecture and inteoduce these different phases as a business. My question to you would be: if I open up an Instagram account what should I post. Should I start taking normal street photos, or should I directly start to ask people if I can shoot their homes. I was not able to read what you had on your presentation. Would be very helpful. Annd as you started, did you also just start with your canon m50 and got all the other equipment with the time? Thanks a lot
Love my Autel Evo drone because no geofencing. Love DJI OM3, more than the newer versions, because the detachable magnet clamp thing is annoying. I use the Z1 for Matterport, though I'm furious that they don't let people downgrade to starter plan during quieter patches.

The Insta360 X3 is out now for not much more money, looks like better specs than the One X2, is there a reason you're not using the X3? Appreciate your content!
I checked this point too as I was thinking about buying the insta360 X3 myself, but I don't think it is compatiable with Matterport yet. As this is the main software my clients like to host their virtual tours I am holding off buying one until they are compatible with Matterport. This might be the reason.

@@ismailabdulle8817 I would go with f4. It's a newer and sharper lens with IS. In real estate you are shoting with the lens stopped down to f/9 - f/13 anyways. F/4 is just one stop of a difference and the sensor in Eos R is good in low light.

Yep skip the Theta V if you can afford to. Looks like the Insta One x is inder$400 so sounds like a good option.

What software do you use for customers to order services ? Do you get payment in full before the shoot ? Would like to see some info on this topic !

Hello Eli...whats your opinion about making real estate videos with an aps-c like Canon 90d ?

great video thanks, you forgot to mention what lens you are using.
What do you use the laser dtape in your gear list for?

Can i shoot with my Samsung S22 Ultra?
of course
Do you need a drone license or permit to use one?
You need an FAA Part 107 Certificate to use a drone for commercial purposes. For hobby usage you'll only need a TRUST certificate. Google them both.
How do you see buying used cheap Eos r and ef 16-35mm f2.8 II USM? Close to half price
I would say it's a great choice.
You coud even go for used 16-35 f4 IS version it's sharper in the corners although the clients will not see the difference ;)
@@michallispl I got f.28 @ $900 canadian and F4 @ $700
So with that close prices which one do you recommend?

Years back I went with more expensive 2.8 II and was really dispapointed with the corner sharpnes. That said, clients don't see that..
Keep in mind if your client wants zillow tours, the insta one x will not work. You'll need the Theta
Insta360 cameras now work with Zillow tours.
