Just went to my local best buy a couple days and picked this bad boy up and what an amazing joy it has been using this for competitive gaming. This beats the Logitech GPX for my personal needs and wants.
Lets goo, another fire BT production review. Absolutely agreed with your points, especially the larger skates. Hybrid option would be the goats. But otherwise, a near flawless mouse for sure.
Maybe it’s just that good 🤔. Full transparency razer meets with us to let us know everything they’ve changed and their thought process. Then we have free reign to review their mice with no direction. I respect them for that. They know their shit is good and let their products speak for themselves. Thanks for watching
Would love to see reviewers checking the flatness of the base of mice since i have noticed a lot have a banana base which ruins how the skates glide and in some cases like zowie C series mice like the FK most of the bottom skate does not make contact with the pad causing the top skate to be flat and grippy vs a loose feeling bottom skate which ruins the overall glide.
I'm personally better with the sora v2 since it's smaller. Viper V3 is verging on being too big for me. In general the viper v3 is the better mouse overall tho.
Speaking of size you said it was a bit too big. My hands are 18.7 by 10.5 (close lenght to yours but like 2cm wider). Would it be good with claw grip and my hand size ? Was thinking between V3 Pro, Beast X, Beast X Max and maaybe Sora v2. Op1 8k seems good shape for claw but cant get back to wired no matter what.
I love the large mouse skates tbh. Always had the split feet on all my previous skates until earlier this year I got the gpx superlight and really liked the additiinal control and feedback the large skates gave. I'm digging seeing this trend on recent mice releases. Totally preference tho just thought I'd share mine. I got a VV3pro in the mail right now.
Love the content BT. This mouse looks lit. Did you have any issues with razer bloatware or synapse draining way too many PC resources? Also what's your valo sens?
I only have problems when using it. The only thing that affected performance was the 8000hz polling rate which is noted within the software. My sens is 1600 dpi .2
i have had my white version for now 1 month now t had to send back one because the wheel was moving left to right this one has no issue , the problem with me is when using this mouse pinky and ring finger starts to feel pain after a while of gaming but that is just a personal problem i come from the steelseries rival 5 a much heavier wired mouse i hoper this helps
This is an interesting mouse from a value and upgrade perspective considering the Viper V2 Pro and Hyperpolling dongle also do 8k wireless. If you already have the V2 Pro or the HyperPolling dongle, it doesn't really make sense to get a V3 Pro when the the V2 Pro is about $100 and the dongle is $30.
sensor is improved and more important ergo is way better, making it the razer GPX in terms of grip but with the more advanced internals. Plus you don't need to rise to 8k by firmware update and the dongle already comes with the V3Pro, so no need to spend more bucks on one that's not on the "bumdle". But new ergonomics in my view are 100% worth the upgrade from the V2Pro, which I also have and for me it does not perform even closer to the V3. Cheers.
The tech is better on the Viper and it's more expensive. The Xlite v3 is going to be ergo and about the same weight, unless you get the ES edition. I own both and I would rock the Viper as my main. The Viper just feels really really well built and the sensor feels amazing. Not sure if it's a new sensor they have exclusivity to (PAW 3970) or maybe PAW 3950 HS (Beast X Max).
I have pretty large hands and I just can’t seem to find and comfortable grip with this mouse. I took it back after one day. Mind you I own tons of mice. It’s one of the most awkward shapes I have came across.
When you are done gaming can you actually shut this one off lol? If you shut the Viper V2 Pro off when done gaming it would absolutely destroy your battery in large chunks by the next time you turned it on. Only mouse ive ever experienced that with. Only way to not kill your battery was to NOT shut it off and have it go to sleep in X amount of minutes which oddly worked
Not sure if it's specific to the "High Speed" version of the sensor, but you get to change DPI by increments of 1. Which aids tremendously in regards to transferring mouse sens from one game to another. Particularly games that don't offer more than 2 significant digits after the decimal place. I believe the WL Mouse Beast MAX is using this same sensor? Not sure if you'd be able to do the same thing on it. Guess we'll find out
batteries vs charging internal units. even if it drains to fast for you in less than 1h you'll have 100% again (30 minutes for a bit more than 50%). And you don't have to trash chemical and acid "removable" batteries every day.
I dunno I respect the effort and the knowledge put into this video. However I am still pretty new to mnk only about two n half years in, but I don’t think switching mice would make one any better at the game? I know they try to sale us on the that notion but hadn’t I seen this video I wouldn’t know otherwise
the dav3 Pro does not come with the hiperpolllng dongle in the packge as the V3Pro. Having to buy it separately will cost you the same, DAV3Pro and V3Pro. Cheers

@@Maddog-xc2zv My sources are not just from reddit but from a youtuber who is well known for benchmarks and tech. The benefits of a hyper dongle is useless to an average gamer who cares more about the shape and battery longevity of the mouse. Not everyone is a sweaty hardcore gamer to need that much polling rate and have the equipment to utilize 4khz-8khz's capabilities. Also there are certain games that doesn't work well with polling rate above 1000hz. No need to force consumers to spend more for a dongle they won't fully use. A hyper dongle won't make you a god aimer right away. If you have trash mechanics, you will perform the same.
@@aphae well, one youtuber means s exactly that, one youtuber. seen many youtubers praising not just shape and grip, but also the difference felt with higher polling rates and dpis (much more advanced sensors) mainly when your euipment includes top cpu's, gpu's andd also high screen refresh rate (like FHD o higher with 240hz rr). As an user (not a youtuber though I might know something about hardware, but I don't have patience to manage a channel, I like my two professions a lot and wouldn't trade for something that is just a browsing curiosity for me) I also felt the difference when razer started to use 4k polling rates on high end gaming mice an all major brands, for some reason perhaps, followed. (which I agree it's a niche but a uite demanding one, for obvious reasons - This is a niche truly new, so to say, as internet gaming, and I recall the 25th birthday of CS - when gaming mice started to show as there were none if you're old enough to remember). As in the 2000's gaming mice niche started to show and are now completely established, same will happen with gaming mice evolution, this is just the start of a new trend inside the top tier gaming mice users. BTW, the average gamer is much more demanding that you think you think they are. Pity there are yet to show good studies and researches, properly done, to shed light into the past and present and evolution regarding this issues, but everything seems to point out on the direction of users and consumers as being generally much better informed and with real high stakes and demands/expectations not only regarding mice performance. Cheers.
batteries vs charging and also improved sensor. I hate mice with batteries, awful to the environment and make them way to heavy compared to built in chargeable unit.
