Useful video to confirm the wave output I should be getting from my DS1307. It looks nice and clean on yours, but at 32khz mine is a rolling 'round topped wave'. Now I'm not sure if it is the home built scope I am using rather than the rtc. thanks. :)
I think I am getting the same sloppy "square wave" at certain times, I sometimes also get a solid 5V DC signal which is very odd. Did you replace it with a new chip and find that the other one was bad? Thanks! (Btw I have a Tektronix oscilloscope and was able to test the 32.768kHz crystal to be good).
