It’s definitely an early 2000s vibe, which I really like. They are in Cali. I agree it’s a Pop/R&B/EDM mix. I think they killed it with their first US release. An uptempo dance track in which vocals were front and center. Haven’t really gotten that since Destiny Child. Now 4th Impact can go any direction from here. Of course those who know 4th Impact realize that they can get insane with the vocals. But, the 1st track had to be something catchy to gain a US audience outside of their diehards. It’s a good setup because when these new fans see what they can really do it will blow their minds even more. They have an EP being released at the end of October and a Cali tour scheduled in November. Good to see you reacting to 4th Impact Dame.

The song is designed to be easy to the ears, highly addictive, danceable and thus, have the song on repeat without hurting your eardrums. Unlike their usual loud high notes, you hear it once, you are quite surprised and then that’s it, you move on.
Being in the U.S. gives them access to a whole new audience, opportunities to work with new music producers and songwriters and they are taking advantage of it. This song has already won them an award from Music Hustler Awards for second place best new song. So they're already making an impact in the short time in the U.S. This is just a start for them and they'll have many opportunities to show off all their talents and not just vocally, but to show they can slay in all genres. Sorry to be one of those sending you an e mail to interrupt your break! This desert scene is 46 miles from the nearest town reached only by secondary and dirt roads. With 30 mph wind gusts. But a trul memorable shoot over 8 hrs straight of them doing the choreo more than a dozen times t perfect perfection. Yes they could rapping, a whistle mote more unparalleled memories, but why throw it all in one song. In fact the composer had no idea of their other worldly talent! Than you DAME!

Hello hello DAME. NOw this is what I call a DEBUT! This Music Video hadn't even been released and it won an award for 2ND PLACE out of OVER 500 ENTRANTS in the MUSIC-HUSTLER AWARDS! Ok, so I feel you when you say, "They can do better" because you and I both know they can do better and as long as they just stay true to themselves, every song will be better than the last, but this is still an AWESOME DEBUT to the US scene! A little DESTINY'S CHILD MEETS 2023. I am waiting with baited breath for their next single, hoping it's not a breakup song, but still danceable like this is, I seen your head bouncing around lol, mine was as well.

I know this is a new sound for the girls...but I'm just old fashioned and love when their voices are crisp and clear without distortions in the sound. They have incredible harmonies that need to be first and foremost in all their songs. This is the band that no one can touch for vocal power and their signature blend of voices. I know that this pop sound is what the girls enjoy so it will be interesting to see where they go on their next single. Thanks Dame for sticking with the girls as they find their way in the crowded USA music market place. Hope they continue to thrive and have a 3 city tour in November.
