Durand sang this like it was his damn song. He really thrives with this classic/timeless voice that other people out now couldn’t even come close to matching without filters on they voice. I especially appreciate the edit on this to play into Durand being Durand. He also very much knew his angles and where that camera was. That boys hips was moving the whole damn time haha

They said his vocal abilities can back up his eccentric personality unlike some people who *try* to have a grandiose personality on stage to compensate for their lack of vocal capabilities or be “quirky” but not have the whole on stage personas. Much like Prince for instance; he could sing his face off and be crazy on stage while giving a top tier performance. Some artists just stand in place to sing, some can’t perform, some can only stay in one lane but OVER perform. The comment said nothing about Durand being the only artist who can sing this song 🙄
