maybe that was the case cause the spaceworld 99 demo takes place in Death Desert and Tazmzily village, possibly taking place before chapter 1. Imagine seeing Hinawa and The 2 kids taking off and having Tazmily and sunshine forest as a Tutorial ground to have newcomers get used to how the game worked. That's how I imagined it.
But we even don't know about cancelled Earthbound 64's plot. I think Nintendo should make Earthbound 64 for players... at least give us Earthbound 64 plot

ANueUtsuho well Porky is already at his best when he comes into the islands since he already had everything he needed from jumping to different times. So theres really nowhere for him to go but down. But yeah i think Rise of the pig king would be cool as well.
I always wondered why a theme representing a monkey's brief yet torturous suffering was repeated so much near the end of Mother 3, but if the leitmotif was meant to reflect the peace of Tazmily Village, it makes much more sense!
i feel like that makes it especially twisted and painful hearing it kick in during master porky's theme, even sounding distorted, like it's to represent what's been lost and what the party are fighting him for
I know producers of Mother 3 have said that making it 3D was an unnecessary decision but I think it would have been really fun to play Mother in its original state considering all the stuff they took out in the final product
@@GamingYoshi64 yeah but my point is saying nothing was “lost” per say, none of it was a sacrifice for the sake of going on the GBA. The GBA is the ultimate version and the go to. I’m struggling to explain it
@@Hamantha Unless the game leaks we'll never really know the full extent of what got cut and changed up for the GBA version. I don't doubt that a lot of the story is the same but again going back to what we do know it definitely looks some story elements were different like the ruined Onett and Fourside and the twin headed chimera

Monkey's Delivery Service Good Future. Fassad is actually a nice peddler with a happy pet monkey and accidentally is swept into the Pigmask renovation because he was tricked due to his innocence. Psh. Yeah right. No alternate universe is ever gonna have Fassad be nice. (Yes, I do know this is the 64 version of Tazmily's theme.)
@@filloso 3DS had this built in app called street pass where if you left your 3ds on and passed other people who had one, your 3DS would swap mii's and they would greet each other in the app... You could play them in the little mini games ... Lots of nostalgia
The soundfont sounds so much more natural and nostalgic on the n64. I really wish we could listen to the whole soundtrack like this, I can almost image Sorriful Tazmily with the same quality as this song, since they use the same instruments.
"A good day for an adventure!" is what this song is screaming. Surly it's hard for a cheerful, westernized harmony like this song to come about when you're playing as a lone ranger with a dead serious expressionless kind of look.
I like to think this plays in an alternate universe where porky couldn't escape to another era and ness and the gang finished him or lucas succeeded in pulling all the seven needles and passed hes true feelings.

While the original was just going to be a non-canon version of mother 3, earthbound returns is a reboot of mother 3! With a couple of things from earthbound 64 relaunched coming back! I actually made drawings for things for earthbound 64 relaunched! I actually recently made the logo for earthbound returns and I think it actually looks kind of like the 64 relaunched logo! Earthbound returns would be called "Mother 3 Re-Written" in Japan!
Yeah, I reimagined that idea again as a fangame called "Earthbound 2" that would basically be a "what-if" scenario brought to life. What if... Nintendo localized mother 3 without being nervous of fan criticisms due to the many changes they'd make?
Man, mother 3 was such a great experience for me, it is really sad that we wont be able to play the n64 vercion ever. I still wonder how it would have been, maybe it would be as dark as TLOZ Mayora's Mask with a more heart breaking theme?

Seems like there was going to be a longer intro/prologue to Mother 3 originally, if the mine cart scene is any indicator. It’s a shame they cut it out, the world-building would have been interesting.
@@moonlight_catto they cancelled it, because the team who were making it, were too inexperienced with the n64's hardware, and polishing it up for the gamecube would've been far too expensive.
Woulda been cool if they kept pixel art but also kept it on consoles so that not only would the team have been more experienced in the field (which was basically their original downfall) but memory constraints pretty much wouldn't have been a problem, so that we could have gotten the true, expansive, MOTHER 3.
This music for some reason is giving me vibes from pokemon… This could have been the best theme for Tazmily than other one. Don’t get me wrong, the original is still kinda nice but man… what a waste…!

According to Shogo Sakai the Love Theme wasn't composed until after the game changed from the Nintendo 64 to the GBA.

It was more due to the fact that the designers didn't even know how to make a 3D game which made development hell.
