That's a great trick - double clicking the EQ sliders to reset them to 0. If you look into the Vocaster HUB manual there are a few more things hidden in there: The Rumble reduction is a HPF with a value of 60Hz for Low, and 80Hz for High. Setting the compression level right in the middle means a threshold of -22dB. The compression ratio is always 4:1, 10ms attack, 30ms release. It also adds +5dB Make-up gain. On the Settings page you can change the target mic level for Auto-gain. So for live streaming you would set it to "Stream" which sets the gain to around -12dBFS, rather than the default -18dBFS. And the last trick is that you can chose the frequency for those EQ sliders. Sort of. Each Preset adjusts different frequency bands: Clean: Bass 135Hz / Mid 2kHz / High 7kHz Warm: 135Hz / 450Hz / 2.5kHz Bright: 500Hz / 2kHz / 11kHz Radio: 100Hz / 1kHz / 6kHz You can start from one of these presets as the base and EQ accordingly.
Hi, I was capable to do this settings from March 2023, on windows side the new version and firmware was already present. Anyway i don't like the compressor integrated.
Both are basically the same devices - only difference is that the Vocaster Two has two XLR inputs and the option to connect an (e.g.) smartphone per bluetooth.
Bandrew, I really like Elgato's clipguard. Do u kno of any other usb mics or interfaces that implement something similar that works well at a beginner / low intermediate price point?
Recently been having crackling noise through the headphone. Momentarily disappear after device on/off. Different buffer size, Tried driver re install, different cables wi does install. Several rma, no such luck. Any idea what it could be
Hey, if you are on Windows 11 this happened to me too and not with an audio interface but my Sound Blaster X4. I think it depends on how the device is handling the USB configuration because I have other devices that do not behave like this. Have you tried using another device to trouble shoot this? Do other devices with a headphone output behave the same problem? Because for me it was not the case and with Windows 11 being a mess right now it doesn't surprise me.

Hello, if I close the hub the presets will still work?
@@dozazilnica9712 yes, the values are saved onto the hardware.
That is cool 👍 thank you for your answer
Great tricks! Could you do a review of the Neumann TLM 107?

Who are you and what have you done with Bandrew
how about Vocaster One? does that work there?
Both are basically the same devices - only difference is that the Vocaster Two has two XLR inputs and the option to connect an (e.g.) smartphone per bluetooth.
yes, my vocaster one has the same eq and compressor features.

The Elgato Wave XLR interface has Clipguard.

Thanks 🌈
Vocaster vs RodeCaster Duo, video streaming need not be considered, it's audio only production.
