When a tune appears here for the first time, the sound file sticks pretty closely to the dots and tablature "script". Revisited videos may deviate a little because in the intervening period I may have begun to play the tune a little differently. That's the way with this music. Thanks for the very kind words, Ed. Much appreciated. There is, indeed, a story behind the title. Unfortunately I've developed a medical condition for which I'm awaiting treatment (a few further diagnostics to come before the medics recommend the exact treatment regime). One of the consequences of the condition is a weakening of my immune system such that I have recently had a string of infections. We take our immune system for granted but it's a vital shield! I'm about to post a set - this jig plus another recent composition, The Hard Mile (whose title also refers to my current medical predicament). Might as well use my misfortune to some small advantage! :-)
