What do you recommend for hanging a really thin plywood sign that is 24 by 36?
Super nice guy, fine shooting. But the facts could be told in 3 minutes, not 15. To my taste there are too many repeats, over-explaining, banalities and fillers. I so much want to love this video but it was annoying 15 minutes with some good tips.
Brother, you just blessed my socks off. I forgot about this thing, I don’t remember what they call it but I’m building two key racks boards or whatever for our narcotics department and this is perfect praise God. God bless you and your side business.
Greetings from South Louisiana my brother.
It is worth the effort, I will try to do my own projects according to your instructions. Your videos are a school. Thank you, I hope to see more videos like this.
Thank you for watching and the kind words! Best of luck to you and your wood projects!
What about a keyhole carved into the back to hand on a flatbed screw, and so it's flush against the wall? Could this be carved into the back of the wood?
what kind og scrose do you use and will it always stay there what will happen if it fal;l
Omg you talk too much
My wife and I are looking to purchase a wood sign for our 12 x 14 outside wood gazebo. We are looking for suggestions on how to hang horizontal sign from the entrance beam of the gazebo. Any tips would be greatly appreciated.
How do you determine the length of chain to use if you're just using one piece of chain attached to the sign at both ends?
Thank you for watching! Suggest you measure the two points where are mounting the chain on each side of the backside. Stretch the chain between those two points and then allow for approximately 1 inch travel (upwards) for hanging on the surface you putting on. Hope this helps!
So what size screw should I use for a 1/2” thick sign? I’ve seen that a #6 is my best bet- but will it show through the front?😅😅
Thank you for visiting! The golden rule is to have a screw go half of the thickness of the material. So a 1/4 inch long screw would work well. A #6 screw would be 9/64 in diameter, depending on what you are using the screw for (considering weight) a #6 works well. I would suggest also you drill a pilot hole prior to using the screw as well. Hope this helps!
Almost 4 minutes before he talks about what to use to hang it jeeze😂
God sent you to me, merci beaucoup. I have been watching you for some time and I really like what you are doing. Personally, I will prefer to use the sawteeth hangers, but I have still to find out. You surprised with the 45-degree board hanger, I did not know that was a thing.
Thank you for watching and the kind words! Best of luck to you and your wood projects!
Very helpful, I appreciate your expertise.
I was just wondering have you made any videos on how to value a sign iv just made a sign and first time making it and the quality of fine has been done without any problems I just don't know how much i should value it at also came hear to figure out how I'm hanging the second part of the sign underneath as it will be out side I'm concerned about wind and it flapping around
Thank you for sharing. Never thought about including the sawtooth for the customer to install. Great idea.
How would a hang one of your signs on a round 6" horizontal wood post Securely so I don't come off??
