My son was born at Ft Carson Army Base in Colorado Springs, 57 years ago; and we have not been back. Your trip has encouraged me to go back for an antique haul, as I have 2 booths in Alabama.
Yes, so enjoying this video and your travels! I’m recuperating from surgery so I am living through your camera lens! Thank you… you are such a warm person!! 🌻❤️
What fun! I have always thought the same about college towns. They just have a special vibe! Some of those booths were pure works of art in themselves. Thanks for sharing your adventures. Travel isn’t an option for me right now, so I especially enjoy watching your videos.
Morning Abigail. I’m having my morning coffee with you and enjoying this video. Love the shop with the French pieces, hope you bought that silver heart hanging on the old dress form! The displays were beautiful and creative. Thank you! 🦋
Loved every minute of it! Great finds! Adore you !!! PS: I have that "the giving tree" book as well...a gift from a college roommate from back in the day.😊
Some great finds! I have an old serape just like that one! I didn’t realize it was worth that much! I figured maybe $100. Thanks for all your videos, I love watching them!
It is so fun seeing where you travel to and what great things you find! Love the serape, it's so beautiful. Can't wait for your trip to France! My family and I are traveling to Scotland in just a few days and I already have the shops I want to go to picked out. ; )
I have and really wanted to but my sister vetoed it. Apparently she’s not eating cheese, lol. It’s such a beautiful store though. Especially the upstairs.
When something catches my eye I decide instantly where I think it would do best. Makes it easy when I go to divide things up. For online I look for high dollar items I can’t get the same amount for locally. Or items that I feel would sell quicker online than at my store or booths. I have a good handle on what’s hot locally so those items I keep for my booths or store. Then there are bigger bulkier items I won’t ship. Also don’t like shipping Art. Of course it’s not a hard science and I’m sure I’m storing items that would probably sell in person just fine.
Hi Abby, I'm a new sub and omgosh I can't believe I haven't seen you here before! Just a few questions; in one of your boho mexico videos, when you said the brothers deal in vintage and chippy old stuff, when you said chippy did you mean a little banged up, or is that a term for vintage? Before covid, often in the winter I would spend a little time in mexico, mostly Puerto Vallarta. I rememeber the very first time I got off the plane in mexico, I felt like I had come home, a strange feeling like I had lived there before - hmmm can't explain it. I almost feel tearful when emersed in the culture. I also love Frida Kahlo. I laughed in one of your videos where you said you had the place in mexico for 20 some years, through many husbands .. lol I can relate, I've had more than my share too ;) Thanks for the memories you brought back to me ... now that covid is, well not so restrictive ... I need to get back to my mexico ... I dream of going to a cocoa farm someday ;) Since I'm at the end of my 50's now and retired, I'm really going through some odd changes in my thinking (what next?), focusing on my art, letting go of what's not meaningful and joyful, and started enjoying thrifting too. Recently my first time over the border (I'm Canadian) since covid, I brought a lady friend with me to thrift a little, had so much fun ;) Your wonderful energy comes across in spades! I'll be a regular viewer for sure. Oh also, in one of the boho mexico videos you showed some wood hands, one with the lady of quadalupe in the center ... any chance you still have that one? I'm not even sure if you ship to Canada. Oh gosh, this comment is so long lol, apologies - Sunshine
Lol, well hello! By chippy I mean weathered and full of patina, shabby chic style. Maybe you were Mexican in a past life? Lol. I’ll check on the hand for you. I just turned 57 myself on Monday and I’m really enjoying my life. I love to travel and feel free and unencumbered. It’s beautiful. Go to Mexico! It’s wonderful and still so inexpensive. I’ll check on the hand for you.
@@AbigailsArtfulAbode thanks a bunch, I would be so thrilled if you have the hand. If you do I'll find where to email you with payment. I think it was your most recent video that you mentioned you're mexican, that gave me a huge grin ;) Have you been to a cocoa farm? Where in Mexico where you born? Sunshine

Right on! So glad you enjoyed it. Yes, definitely worth more to the right seller. They are not that easy to find and that makes them desirable.

Hi there! New subscriber and fellow Etsy seller here! Really enjoying your videos. Best wishes!
Hi!! So nice to meet you. I’ve been meaning to do another what sold online video. They seem to be pretty popular.
Wish you had gone to the Cheese Factory in Longmont. It's fantastic. Also Greeley Lincoln Park Antiques.
I have and really wanted to but my sister vetoed it. Apparently she’s not eating cheese, lol. It’s such a beautiful store though. Especially the upstairs.
Awesome videos

Hi Abigail, how do you decide what to put in your booth and what to sell online? I just found you and your videos are so enjoyable!
