We spend about 20mins walking through different areas in Calido Valley and performing different activities. So far the graphics in Calido Valley look really good and this is only the start

So impressed. Thinking about the more hours people spend in this imaginary world, but with real goals, and ultimately real money is absolutely world changing. People need to understand that their wallet is the heart of what their avatar is online, and that there is an email attached to that, and a real person with real world attachments on the outside... This is re-definfing intellectual property... intellectual value, intellectual importance.
Blockkchain is a digital proof of all described above. Blockchain is programmable trust, and trust is that which are at the foundations of the human condition, and what it means to be human. ☮

I'm a huge Cardano fan which obviously makes me have eyes on the ecosystem, including COPI. Thanks for sharing this early access video! The world is impressive, but there' nothing unique about the game itself that other AAA games don't have outside of ownership capabilities in the form of NFTs. I'm curious to understand what the foundation of this game is. What will make people want to play it and what leveling/gaining experience actually does for character enhancement. Being an old school MMORPG player myself, progression is a huge part of a game and I'm failing to understand what progression does in this game or the reason for it? Is there somewhere I can get more of a detailed understanding of the fundamentals of the game? Thanks!
Crypto devs think all you need to do is build ANYTHING, and that's enough to drive up token prices and eventually cash out.
No one has yet demonstrated a genuine gaming NEED for blockchain in a video game.
@movinon1242 The need is for true asset ownership in a game. Speaking from experience, it is a huge advantage being able to sell your assets if/when you no longer wish to play a game. It allows you to recoupe money you have put in as well as time in the form of money that you invested your attention into. No regular game offers that.

To be honest, I went off of Cornucopias after the 'Bubble jet' sale fiasco, and seems to be taking forever and a day to deploy.
BUT, it's nice to see movement on it, and I'll probably have a go once it's been out for a while and running well.

Looks amazing! and huge! Cant wait to play the racing. What spec PC will be needed to play this smoothly with full graphics?
For now they are letting higher spec machines come in to test but as time passes it will be optimised more to let it run smooth on more and more machines. In this one I was using a 3070 graphics card and recording at the same time and it all held up well
It already looks so nice it's simply unbelievable that the current & overall mkt cap of the project is so low vs the development.

Yes this city is just one part of the metaverse, there will be alot more areas to explore and I will hopefully be able to show some of them soon too

the character movements needs some work, it needs to be more athletic, it's too stiff right now. It's crucial to make the player feel free to run around, jump, etc, and the walking is a little twisted to one side

Some of that is down to me recording and playing at the same time
You non-gamers dont understand how easy this is to make with unreal engine, these assets are all ready made and easy to use, im not kidding when i say what im seeing here takes about a week to create.... This is a pure cash grab and will never become an actual game.

You have seen 1% of this world to come and 0,1% of the gaming aspect of it. This is only to show that they are building something huge ! This is a univers, with several games in it, and you haven't yet seen any of those games. The only thing you can do is use your intelligence and imagination capacity to think what will be built with such a great graphic quality.
This is only about 1% of what it will be. There will be a full metaverse for building, playing mini games and racing tracks so lots to come
