From what I've seen of toast, he needs to work on learning more combos. He relies too much on short combos/low hits into grabbing and hail mary rage r
because he barely plays haha. So it makes sense. But Toast is most likely the opposite of Lily. Toast has great game sense but execution wise he's lacking, while Lily has great execution but game sense is sometimes questionable.
@@michaelshahoe I don't think her game sense is that bad, I think she's facing a common issue of trying to learn solid tekken vs opponents who aren't playing solid tekken. It's hard to have game sense when your opponent is playing very far from "standard" play. I think Lily's biggest weakness is matchup knowledge, which is a big hamstring when you're trying to emulate high level tekken.
@@Iam_Stu oh I do agree that matchup knowledge is a main factor too. But this applies to Toast too. I was just talking about them as gamers in general. You will also notice this in the other games she's playing like Valorant and how she's trying to learn the game. She's very execution heavy.
Also to clarify, I love Lily's Tekken journey. I watch her stream every time and out of everyone in the OTV group, I like Lily's Tekken content the most. I'm actually a bit disappointed Toast doesnt like Tekken that much or atleast is not interested to commit some time into Tekken even if it's just an hour per stream.
if he can commit in tekken that is. he barely played the game maybe bec he doesnt like that much
Long combos aren't the be-all/end-all of skill in Tekken. Plenty of combo kings out there who'd get cooked against a jab with some strong movement.
He definitely needs more time on the game to hit his full potential, but even then a more polished version of his current approach is completely viable

It def shocked me considering how bad he played in Sajam despite putting hours in that run.
Expected him to have the fastest sets in this clash getting omegabodied bc he didn't play at all for this (like his match against boxbox)
