Does the disc probe have to be on the same type of mounting plate as the reference stylus. For example: reference stylus is mounted directly to stylus plate while the disk probe is mounted on an extension and then mounted on the stylus plate. Would you have to add the length of the extension to the difference between the disk and reference stylus or does that not matter?
