    I talked with my dad about this Polish tendancy of not smiling and he answered that it is probably linked to our history. You know, wars, loss of independancy, communism.. He said that Poles could not trust other people for a long time , they had to stay tense and serious to survive and it remained in the culture. Fortunetely it's slowly changing for better now

    • @Ntwadumela1
      @Ntwadumela1 Год назад

      It's not true. The Finns smile even less and there was no communism there. People of the north are just like that. I think most of us are proud of it actually.

      @@Ntwadumela1 It’s not about the 50 years of communism lol. It is about the 123 years without a COUNTRY and being under over century long occupation by 3 empires. Not to mention earlier betrayals by corrupted nobles bought by these empires to oppose the King. Then Poland regained independence after WWI in which those empires fought each other so Polish people killed each other drafted to the opposing armies. After WWI those Poles created Poland from 3 different countries with different languages, law, even traditions, jokes and cuisines. Then, when they succeeded the WWII started and another nightmare began with many traitors during the war among relatively new established country because of different minorities left by ex-occupiers and tensions among political forces sponsored by foreign influence (mostly by ex occupiers). During WWII Poland was betrayed by allies (UK, France and ignored by the USA), after the war Poland was betrayed again and pushed under the train for communism. After so communism collapsed, many ex communists took sits in newly created country just to keep the influence and power to former communists and agents, especially in judicial system on every level. Now Poland is trying to get rid of them BUT so called “Polish” MEPs in Brussels being in opposition for 8 years in Poland in cooperation with EU’s EPP lunatics called Polish attempt an illegal judicial reform (although they have no fking right to interfere). So now we have another war against internal traitors, idiots and lunatics in the EU as a whole (including regular European people who doesn’t know the truth) and external and tbh eternal enemy - ruSSia. So, now tell me. When we should start to trust each other and fkin smiling? To whom?

    Polish people do smile, if.....they have reason to smile.
    The smile is honest, no fake like in North America.
    They are no angry, just do not smile all the time

    Just because we don't smile doesn't mean we are mad or not happy. Safe to say that is a part of our culture and you saying that it has to change is kinda weird. For me smiling fo no reason all the time seems insencere and sometimes annoying but I don't tell people to stop smiling lol. Good video though I hope you have a great time here. You literally brought the sun with you bro. We don't have that much sun for the most of the winter

    I stumbled on your video when I searched for information on Krakow PL. Your energy, positive, smiling energy is genuinely reflected and felt in your vlogs- at least the ones I watched (so far). Smile, keep smiling. What a beautiful soul!! Blessings and good health always to you and your family!

    i wouldnt say that polish people walk around angry. i think its just a part of culture, since poles havent had a lot of reasons to smile throughout recent history, and even then, people smile when they really mean it! the default is a neutral face - smile when you're really happy. :) that's the case with poles. if you get a polish person to smile - you've geniunely made their day.

    Your philosophy is just like mine: create positive energy, even if getting some negative reactions sometimes (luckily, rarely). Those who react negatively to us reaching out, are lost already; That maybe their own path to that breakthrough moment when they realize that their negativity creates them unnecessary problems and that they have a choice to change it. It's also pure physics: many negative energy spots we experience now can not be improved by adding more negative energy (after all, it is quite natural for us imperfect humans to retaliate when provoked).

    I remember when I was a child of the 80s, then 1990. Everything gray, crooked, ugly on TV was flying that now we will also be western. But when I was playing truant, sitting on a bench or at railway stations and seeing all this, there was sadness because when will it all be and how much money will have to be put into it ... depressing. And finally, after these 25-30 years, Poland has become more beautiful, and in line with my father's words, "You'll wait it out calmly",,. Thank you for the video, best regards and good luck.

      I look back to the 80s and 90s with great fondness. What was so gray back then? The grass and trees were just as green as they are today and autumn was just as colorful.
