The last advertisement made me cry like no other advertisement or film has. Not only tears but sobs too...I was a horrible grandchild as well. I regret it very much...she was hospitalized at the time and I went with my mother to visit her. She was already there for a couple of days but she was improving...my mother was very down and I told her it wasn't as bad as she thought it was! How could I not see...? but my mother knew. She was right...2 or so days after I had told that to my mother (she ended up staying in the hospital 5 days, if I am not mistaken), she receives a call, at night...my heart sank and my mother's must have, too. It was very late and *not* the time you can expect a casual call. A call at that time of the night could only mean 1 thing...and she didn't recognize the number, either, which pointed to that as well. She picked up. Her mother, my grandmother, had died. It was surreal! I had a little hope they were mistaken, but I knew how unlikely that was. There was no mistake. At her funeral, I knew I would never be able to see her again. I gave her the most tender kiss I have memory of giving her...If I could go back, it would be so different! I would try to have more patience, to be more understanding, more caring...
