I'm glad this turned into a twofer, Skip. The Caddy and the Corvette are two classics and they both look very rich in your pink treatment. Super good work for such a great cause. 🍁☕
Thank you to all the horsemen for bringing more attention to this horrible disease. My wife just turned ten year survivor from stage 4 breadth cancer. And go figure I was diagnosed and treated for stage 3 esophagus and stomach cancer. I'm home recovering from my surgery. Been watching a lot of die-cast restoration videos. Keep up the great videos. ❤
The wheels on the caddy look awesome on it glad you kept them. The paint jobs are amazing. Re the real cars id go caddy but that paint on the vette just looks so cool. Both are spectacular
Those both turned out pretty dang sweet. Something that I have found that works really well for stubborn paint, is sealing it up with the stripper on. I had some castings that the paint just would not come off of. I bought myself a glass dish with a rubber gasketed lid from the dollar store. I cover my casting in stripper, seal it up in that dish, and it works amazing on tough paint. It will easily double the efficiency of your stripper.
That's an interesting comment. When I strip castings, they're always in a sealed jar...and it never crossed my mind that it might be improving the effectiveness of the stripper. It makes sense...and I just happened to be doing it by dumb luck lol
Both are awesome.
AMAZING X 2 .
WOW .
Thank you so much 😀
