only halle casually talks about her ovarian cysts and getting sudden surgery
someone who had had ovarian cyst surgery here! i had a sharp pain on my right ovarie for 2 weeks and one night i woke up and it ruptured! definitely something that needs to get taken care of asap! (it can effect if u are able to have kids or not when ur older so pls be careful and get on it instead of waiting any longer)
my ovarie rupturing was by far the worst pain i’ve ever felt. but pls pls don’t brush your pains off… i had the same exact cramping pain for about 2 weeks and trust me, emergency surgery was not fun!
Same here!! It’s definitely not something fun. It sucks that they’ll always come back though no matter what. The only thing you can really do is take birth control or some other kind of pill to reduce the pain. Its horrible ;( they removed my appendix then said it was because of ovarian cysts. But my doctor said theirs not entirely too much that can be done.
If you just tell the missionaries straight up that you aren't interested they will probably stop coming. And they'll honestly appreciate your honesty with them and hopefully respect it.
And you never know, maybe talk with them at least once and you might enjoy it

We have missionaries come to our house all the time, we have told them SOO MANY times to stop coming that we are not interested and they still continue to show up

Missionaries are told to keep going back to homes where they haven’t met and had a chance to talk to someone. I definitely see your side and they should take a hint, but honestly just open the door and tell them no thanks!

Sure enough, feeling how it began to shrink and eventually disappear within 2 months was so liberating. I followed the steps I mentioned, and within the first 2 weeks the bloating was gone. I simply go'ogled Tilly Strankten's Ovarian Cyst Guide and it's like I hit the feel-good reset button lol.

I don’t want to scare you, just kind of warn you, but oral birth control can cause lesions on your liver that can turn cancerous, which doesn’t happen with other birth controls so I would ask her if you’re gonna be on it, long-term and if so, if there’s anything else she can take other than oral birth control,
I would leave a note on your door telling the missionaries your not interested and to please stop coming
